Thats great news.
As for the $3 pay cut, I took about that much of a pay cut per hour for a part time job with benefits.
Even with the benefits cost, it is worth the cut in pay for the benefits I receive. (Such as paid time off, sick days, and personal days). Medical benefits are great since I now have a low co pay, and my perscription cost is ZERO. Yes, ZERO. (I have a great plan!)
Just the perscriptions alone would be several hundred dollars.
Anyway, I hope it all works out. If you think you can manage on the money pay cut, and it doesn't affect your bottom line, you should do fine. Perhaps you can ask for more hours to offset the pay decrease
