I have bad eyes but older sister’s are worst (she had the Coke bottle lenses until she bought contact lenses with the first money she earned). When people called me “Mr. Peabody” , I asked if that made them my “Sherman”; always been a wisenheimer

My son’s group of friends was affectionately called the nerd herd. They accepted anyone into their group. I love them for it.

I was a nerd because all my friends were brainy. People assumed I sat home and studied all the time which I did not. I got good grades without a lot of effort.
