"I Want To Go Back!!!"....a Sept 2010 PTR(upd 10/12-TR Started!)

Girl, I say book it! That is sooo cheap!! $140 RT is great!!!! The lowest ours has been in the last 3 or 4 years has been $208....But, if it's not the airline you are really hoping for, then maybe you should wait. We are Continental people!! That's the best around here (or so we think!)....and that is the airline that we get our Flyer miles with.

Everyone's excited about Southwest releasing their schedule today! Did the flight times you wanted stay the same? I know mine were changed and there's no afternoon non-stop. :(

If you can stand it, I'd hold off. Should only be a week or so, right? I sure hope they offer FD. It would shock lots of people if they didn't!

For 3 of us, it's $207 each way. We belong to the True Blue program with JetBlue, but we don't have enought points for miles or anything yet. Tony and I haven't gotten a chance to discuss it yet, but I'll keep you posted!

I didn't know about any schedules ahead of time. The flights they have would work out great for us. On the way down, the nonstop leaves BUF around 6:30am and lands at MCO around 9am. AWESOME! We love our early flights! I think on the way home we would leave MCO around 5:30pm and land sometime after 8pm. That works great for us too! We will probably wait another week or so and see if JetBlue lowers their fares! :rotfl:

You should be fine with waiting Meghan. SW will have those $69 sales on and off until July! (I know you won't want to wait that long!) It's just so hard to wait though isn't it?!

It's super hard to wait! I just want everything to be booked so I can relax.

Speaking of booking things....I'm going to go ahead and call and add the DDP to our ressie. That way, I can book CRT on Friday without having to worry about credit card charges and such.

Honestly, Tony and Maddie don't really care. Every time I ask Tony a question, he says whatever I want to do is fine with him. He knows that I love planning and he's happy doing whatever I've planned out. I would have loved to sit down as a family and plan out ADR's and such, but they aren't really interested. They both LOVE Disney, but they leave the planning up to me. The only thing I was told to do was get an ADR for Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's. They don't really care where else we eat! :rotfl: I'm definately leaning towards the 2nd plan and there is plenty of Epcot in there, it's just all towards the beginning of the trip. I guess after our 'Ohana breakfast, we can go to MK or EP. I'm guessing we'll end up at Epcot, but that's fine with me. I LOVE taking the monorail from TTC to Epcot and Madison has never gotten to do that. On Tony's first trip, we only went to MK and DHS. However, on our MK day, we accidentally got on the Epcot monorail!! I'm sure everything will work out and I just need to stop stressing about it.

I guess that's really great and kinda frustrating at the same time...it's awesome that you get to plan everything, but I bet it'd be so much easier to just have someone else make the decision! :upsidedow But it's really, really good that your family is so laid-back about it all. You're going to have a FANTASTIC trip!! That's so true--there's lots of Epcot time in the 2nd one too. And who knows, you might end up there on days you weren't even planning it! Oh, Maddie will just love the ride from the TTC to Epcot--It's the best Monorail ride! :thumbsup2 It'll all work out--and honestly, who follows their plan completely anyway?!

As far as the airfare goes, that's such a tough call! Those rates are AMAZING. I wish that we could have gotten them so cheap! But if you really like JetBlue so much more, then it might be worth the wait. One thing that's awesome about SW is that they will give you the discount if the price decreases. Sadly, SW doesn't fly out of our airport--we'd have to go to a completely different, just SW airport. The rates are always super high. But you have two really great options!

I'm quite fine doing all the planning. I do love that they totally trust my planning skills. As long as they get their CP breakfast and plenty of time at Epcot, they're be happy campers. :goodvibes I don't go overboard with the planning and I'm always more than happy to take park suggestions while we're down there.

The SW rates really are amazing! I did know about SW doing the price adjustments; I just wish all airlines did the same thing. I've never flown SW and I've heard that their boarding procedures have gotten better. We really can't go wrong with the prices and the direct flights. They always predict 2 1/2 hours from Buffalo to Orlando, but we always get there in about 2. It's awesome!

Hi, read your june trip report today and really enjoyed it, you have such a beautiful family!!! and madison is so cute!!!:cutie:

so a fellow irish dancer subscribing!!! your ADR's look good, I share your stress about organising park days and restaurant times and DBF is exactly the same as your family, totally confident in my planning skills but not really having much input! nerve-wracking but ultimately worth it i suppose!!!:)

Thank you so much for reading! Madison ADORES Irish dancing and we love watching her. It's so much fun! I'm a bit more relaxed about my plans now. I'm so glad I have the DIS to "talk" to!

Good Morning.....so is your speed dial ready to call for ADR's this morning like me? SO excited!!! Can't wait to hear how you make out!! Good luck!:goodvibes

Good morning everyone! Today was my ADR day and I was so excited about it. I set my alarm for 5:45am so I could warm up the computer and be on the Disney website by 6am. Yup, I did all of my ADR's online and it couldn't have been any easier. I started making my ADR's around 6ish and I was completely done by 6:15am. Talk about fast!!! So, without further ado, here are my ADR's:

9/23-Chef Mickey's at 10:30am
9/24-Cape May Cafe at 10:45am
9/25-Garden Grill at 4:30pm
9/26-Crystal Palace at 8:15am
9/27-50's PTC at 4:20pm
9/28-CRT at 4:15pm
9/29-'Ohana at 9am

I got everything I wanted and the time's that I wanted! I ended up booking early dinners because I'm sure with FD (fingers crossed), all of the restaurants are going to be pretty packed. Most places start their dinner seatings right around 4:30 so I figured we wouldn't have to wait as long to be seated (maybe?). Now, it's time to just sit back and relax and wait for FD to be released. Once that's over and done with, we'll book our flights.

I'm taking Madison to get her hair cut today (no school today-superintendent conf day). She wants to get it cut up to her shoulders! :scared1: I'm going to take some before and after pics and post them later for all of you. Be back later!
