Ok so I'm an addict. I found out there wasn't one in Epcot and was bummed. Come on - its an Canadian as coffee.

Just had to share with the other Canadians on here. I wrote to Tim Hortons suggesting they open one at Epcot. I actually got a response today:

Dear Ms. Fraser,

I would like to thank you for taking the time to write to us with your
location suggestion as well as for your valued patronage.

Your suggestion has been forwarded to our Real Estate Department for their
review and consideration. It is through feedback from valued customers,
such as yourself, that we are continually able to grow as a company.

If you have any further questions or comments please do not hesitate to
contact us.

Thanks,
*****

... I giggled until I got hiccups. I thought it was pretty darn funny :thumbsup2

:rotfl: That is so cute that they responded to you! Nice to know that they do read customer recommendations. :rotfl:

They would be very smart to get into Disney - they would make so much money! Perhaps, they will give you free coffee for life if they open up at Disney.:lmao:

As canadians we should request a government investigation into the ingredients of Timmie's coffee. Too many people are addicted. hahahaha The Timmie's zombies in the morning are a sad site. I have two where i work and it is amazing the transformation people go through after just one.

Timmies in Epcot makes so much sense!!!! They should wake up and smell the....

There really is nothing more Canadian than Timmie's. lumberjacks and mounties aren't really it. a Doughnut store is.

and there is way more than caffeine in there....i am convinced.

When we were in The Canada pav last March waiting to go in the Hostess asked how many Canadians were there waiting, several responded she then asked "Did you bring me a Tim Hortons" A American family behind us asked what is Tim Hortons? The Hostess laughed and said it a Canadian national coffee!

There have room on the second floor where the Anne of Green Gables shop and such used to be - it'd be a quaint little spot and given Canada more defined food options then popcorn and beer carts.

I actually don't like Timmies coffee, but it sure beats the coffee they serve at WDW so I'll take a Timmies at Epcot!!

I've asked them at Epcot (a few times) why they haven't borught it yet, and got the same answer each time.

They have suggested it numberous times, but current contracts with Nescrapé won't allow Tim Horton's.

this makes me laugh, because after 2 weeks at disney on hubbys first trip, within 20 minutes of clearing through customs, he had to get a timmies and i have the pic of it! lol

he's been very happy on numerous trips to maine to see timmies there, too bad we can't convince them to have it in epcot.

Coffee carts in Epcot - the one at International gateway, by Italy/America, and near Universe of Energy are all operated by Joffrey's as a 3rd party.

This suggests that's a line of bunk they're selling you.

not if the contract states "no tim hortons at WDW during contract" other coffee is ok....

But Nescafe is just a product contract, like how Disney uses coke at their shops. They briefly had the Fountainview as a Nescafe "Cafe" but that died quickly. If it was a noncompete or something in the contract it would be toward all outside coffee places - Joffreys uses their own coffee, so they're obviously not being forced to use Nescafe.

Not to mention, Nestle is no longer a pavilion sponsor at Epcot so it's very unlikely they have much power at WDW.

Thank you for answering my letter. I would be pleased to accept free coffee for life. Also, I accept your job offer to run the Epcot Tim Hortons location permanently. I think 120k a year is a fair and just starting salary. The free housing in the treehouses is a very generous offer, and I would be pleased to sign the contract today....

If Epcot / Disney couldn't manage to keep the Beaver Tails license agreement working, I can't imagine them implementing anything with Tim Horton's. However, someone should remind Disney that poutine is not a licensed product, and they could easily make a lot of money with a poutine stand in Epcot.
