I want DVC/ABD adventures in Orlando!

The thread on services you'd like to see in WDW made me post this. I've been thinking about this ever since ABD and DCL created some special Port Adventure tie-ins.

I would like to see DVC offer something similar to Port Adventures like DCL or one-day ABD trips just to DVC members staying on points. Kind of like the special safaris and such only on a much bigger level. We don't do commando anymore, and would love to see more of florida. We'd love to book a special day each trip that was a more in depth type of experience. Kennedy Space Center comes to mind (could get us into places usually not allowed for tourists). Or maybe one of those boats (can't think of the name) on the everglades. Or orange groves and a great local meal. Or fishing.

I don't know. But it seems like ABD could certainly put together "adventures" at VB, HHI, Hawaii, and WDW. They have something to tie in with DL. I guess shorter ventures would be fun. We've done the 3 night DCL thing and I don't see us doing it again. But I'd love a 3 or 4 night trip ABD trip to tack on our DVC vacations. Or one day trips to enhance our trips to WDW.

Does this make any sense? It's not even 5am here and my coffee is still brewing

I, too, would love the opportunity of 1 or 2 day adventures in Florida. Commando raids on the parks is getting old, and WDW is really surrounded with opportunity if one just had the coordinated opportunity of breaking out! Yes, we all can rent a car and go, but an adventure opportunity in the way Disney can offer really sounds like a good idea.
