Buffy - Glad to hear about the after 2pm ticket.. that's cool! Of course my MIL has a AP, so she don't care! LOL
I guess the monerail would be nice.. just that the CR doesn't do much for me.. But, your right-- the closeness to the MK would be good..
However, in AUG.. when it's super hot -- you really can't beat Stormalong Bay for a pool! LOL
I know it will cost more, but i would share the room with MIL and dd, I don't think i could do 4 "friends" in a room.. I just like my space.. LOL

I hear ya on the whole sharing thing. I guess we could have a list of who wants to be alone, who will share with 1 person, 2 people, and 3 people. Then arrange rooms that way. When filling out the forms they have a place to add table mates too, and who will bunk with you but 1 person has to be the main room person. (Not sure of the exact wording)

The reason it was at YC was because they reached capacity for the convention center at the Contemporary. I loved YC but CR was really nice too and having monorail service was a plus. The cost varies greatly depending on how many people share a room and how many days you stay but I think it was less than $300 a person if 4 people shared a room for 2 nights and 3 days of scrapping. Some of the packages include dinner and Sunday breakfast too. It was roughly $500 for me and DH, it would have been cheaper if he had scrapped too.
The biggest expense is airfare, but I'm sure people can get some really good deals. Oh and you can get discounted park tickets too. They have an after 2pm ticket for convention goers.

Oh, I am SOOO there!! Already telling DH that my reward for losing weight will be scrapping with my DIS friends at WDW. Think they will be ready for us?

They don't have to pricing for WDW yet but these are the prices for Camp Hill Pa. I think WDW may be a little more expensive but I'm not sure since unfortunately I'm not a local. HappyLady here on the DIS is local though, so she might be able to point you in the right direction. Dream Events also has a forum so if you join some one there could help you.
