WOW! I'm suprised it was open! Awesome!

I looks so cute and the faires are adorable! I love it!!

And I love how your daughter is making her hands like the light fairy! Too funny!! She's a cutie!

Thank you so much for sharing!

Okay, the line was very long! We waited about an hour and fifteen minutes. The CMs said we hit it at a very good time beacause earlier in the day the wait was about 2 and a half hours.

I will say that is was worth the wait. The Fairies were awsome. They were very talkative and interacted extremely well with my dd.

Tinkerbelle was so nice to dd. There really was no major rush once we were with the fairies which would explain the long wait!!

My only complaint would be to have better shade.

Thanks for the pictures! Glad that your DD loved it and that you felt it was worth the wait!

Oh, how cute! Now I wish I had a DD that was into princesses and Tink and whatnot! Mine is into everything BUT.

 Wow, that is nuts to wait two hours. Well, to me anyway. LOL Obviously for some it was worth it.

The pics are very cute and your DD is just adorable!! Love her costume. :thumbsup2

Okay, I have to say it and I'll probably get yelled at, but.......ummm, I'm not crazy about that Tink. She's not bad, just not what I expected. I'm not even sure what I was expecting but something just seems off to me. The other two fairies are very cute though.
Maybe I'm just having a hard time with the whole Tink thing. I don't know. I don't deal well with change. LOL

Anyway, thanks for sharing!

Oh Wow! My daughter is going to love that! That is definitely a must do for us! I just hope we can find a time with a short line!

I would highly recommend going there first thing in the Am or at least sending gone person to stand in line (which as a single mom who goes to DL & WDW alone with my dd I am very jealous of but would do in a heartbeat if I could!) while you & dd ride rides. I am not sure what the CM plicy is on family members joining people in line. A few families did this and the CMS let them - today at least!

Dang, I missed it by 1 week! I agree with you mommaU4...I'm not crazy about that Tink either. Her outfit looks like one you would find at a Halloween costume store. I think the Tink on on the train float in the parade is much cuter. (runs and hides to avoid the rotten tomatoes!)

OK, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm not trying to be overly critical or negative. I know many little girls (and some boys too!) are going to be overjoyed to see her.

I just thought being in SoCal they'd have plenty of cute little blondes to choose from. LOL I think even the fairy above in the pink/fushia outfit is cuter and would make a nice Tink.
Just my opinion. :hippie:

The whole area is really cute though. Can't wait to see it in person.

Where is it located? DD would LOVE that!!

It is right next to the Matterhorn where the Ariel meet and greet used to be.

I will say this I honestly was not looking Tink so much -- more so at dds face. While her costume might not be all that - Tink was very much tink! She was very very interactive with the kids. Inbetween vistors she would walk around just like tink. (DD and I saw the movie at the disney theatre in Hollywood (EL Capitain) and this tink is very much like that in the movie.)

While I agree it was too long of a wait dd had been waiting for this for so long. We were actually on our way to ride Buzz when dd noticed it was open. I thought it was an AP preview day but dd wanted to ask the CM. DD was so excited when the CM told her to go ahead and get in line even the CM was laughing with me! Will I wait that long again - probably not!

Well, that's good to know. It's true sometimes the mannerisms can make or break the character and you can't really capture that in a picture. Lots of interaction is always good too.

And what a good mom for waiting in that line with your DD. I can just picture her excitement. :goodvibes :wizard:

I agree about the mannerisms. I've seen characters who look dead on as the characters they are portraying, but then their mannerisms and the way they interact are bleh. :confused3

I think the other 2 fairies are super cute and they look a lot like the animated fairies in their faces and not so much Tink. She's still cute though, but I think the Tink in the POD has a much cuter face. Meh, but I see some princesses and they're not that cute in the face either. So whatev. :goodvibes

I can't wait to see the other 2 fairies though. Those other 2 are my favorite.

ETA: You know what though? I'm really impressed on what Disney did with this. The theming is wonderful and I love the giant blades of grass. It seems like it really adds to the idea of the guests "shrinking" to fairy size. It looks like a totally different place instead of them just removing Ariel's clam and the statues and adding fairy stuff. Beautiful job.

Thank you for sharing your pictures. :) They are very nice. Your daughter is a very nice looking girl, and she looks very happy to be visiting the pixies.
I like all of the costumes and the ladies portraying the pixies, are all very pretty. They (the CM's) appear to be doing a really very nice job with their characters.

I have always wanted to meet Tink!

I'll be going in a few weeks to DL for my bday.:wizard:
This will be a great present to meet her :)

Thank you for the info!

By the way, where is it located within the park?

Thanks!

Oops nevermind, I re-read all the posts and you said where it was..lol. It's too early here ...so no more Ariel then? Or have the relocated her meeting spot?

Oh wow how wonderful those pics are!! Now I can't wait til someone posts WDW Pixie Hollow pics!! This is such a cool concept all the way around - as a kid I always wanted to meet Tink, so I'm happy that next summer I will finally be able to at 28 years old meet one of my absolute faves!!!
