Has been little touchy lately but I have to say that tags like this one:

"Putting meaning in your sad little lives since January 12, 2003"

are not helping our community get together. It brings up negative feelings on many sides and honestly I do not want to deal with it anymore. Sorry if it offensive to some but enough is enough!!!!!!!

I haven't seen that tag. Heck, half the time I'm responding to a post so fast, I don't take the time to read the tags. I just read what I feel like reading and post to the ones that interest me. I've been having fun though.

"Sad little lives" sounds demeaning to me. Putting my dog down will make my life sad for awhile but I wouldn't call my life or anyone else's here a "sad little life."
I can't believe anyone thinks that is funny...is it supposed to be funny? Maybe I'm missing something. It still sounds demeaning to me.

I admit I had to laugh when I first saw it (on this post) I guess I have a very dry sense of humor. But if it is someones expense it's pretty sad. I am not in on all the "in" information. If the "you know who" is who I think it might be then it's even more sad. Even though we agreed on almost nothing I really miss that particular disser.

Honestly? I don't know what the hell you're talking about. I was simply posting about the comment itself. It seemed lighthearted to me... but since there's obviously a story behind it and I don't know what it is, I'll refrain from further comment.

I enjoy reading and posting occasionally here... but I swear sometimes it seems as if half the people here post in some kind of "code."

I don't read "tags".. I have enough trouble trying to choke back my anger and disappointment over some of the nasty, hurtful things that are said to some of the posters here..

Could be the "tag" was meant to be harmless - a "dry humor" type of thing - but I'm not familiar with the mysterious "incident" that is being vaguely discussed here so I can't really comment one way or another..
