Hey guys!

It is going to take me a while to actually put together a trip report, but I needed to post this picture to let everyone know that this is even a possibility!!

We contacted Disney about doing a Blizzard Beach photo shoot after our MK bridal shoot since my husband (:cool1: ) and I met at Blizzard when we were on the College Program 5 years ago. They had never had a photo shoot there, so it had to get cleared, and then approved, and then cleared again! Finally I was told that it would be a go! :thumbsup2

After a couple weeks I learned about the Trash the Dress phenom! I thought it would be so fun if I was able to get a bit wet at the photo shoot! I was SHOCKED when I was told I could!!

So, 3 days after my wedding, we met with our photographer for a MK shoot and a Trash the Dress Blizzard Beach shoot!!

We got SOAKED!!! We took pictures in the lazy river, in the wave pool, and even under one of the rinse off showers! It was amazing!

I have yet to see the official pictures, and I will do a Trash the Dress Trip Report when they are posted, but to give you a taste, here is a picture that my husband (I love saying that!) took as I was getting in the water!! :tink:

Omg wow....

you have alot of guts!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would never be able to do that!!

Agghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

:)

I LOVE IT!!! we were cast members 5 years ago as well, lifeguards at boardwalk!!! i'd LOVE to put my dress on and ruin it in the luna park pool...maybe i'll even go down the slide, this is SUCH A GREAT IDEA! i can't wait to read your tr....

Caryn, I'll get into more details in my trip report, but they didn't let me go on any actual rides for safety reasons, so they might not let you go down the slide. Also, I had to have 2 lifegaurds on duty at my expense just to be extra safe.

That being said... we still took TONS of pictures that did not involve rides!!
Is your wedding at the boardwalk??

Ps... we were CPs in 2002 too!!!

our wedding is at the boardwalk! i can't wait!!! when did you do your cp? we were there may 2002-dec/jan 2002!!! were you a lifeguard? i can't beleive they made you have lifeguards, that's so funny...i would have loved guarding that shoot, i bet they were cracking up with their tubes the whole time!

That is sooo cool! Def. sounds like a lot of fun. Be sure to post the link here to your official TR!

Very original, and I can't wait to see more!

I'd never have the guts to trash my dress, though I've seen a lot of great artistic photography of girls prior, in process and finished product from industrial areas of Detroit. It's just starting to catch on up here.

Anxioiusly awaiting more pictures and a trippie!

That is so awesome! It's nice to know that Disney allowed this as this is something that I would really like to include in a future VR.

That is soooooo funny! I can't wait to see more! :)

I'm hooked, that is so cool you were able to do the blizzard beach photo shoot, that would be so much fun!

That is very brave of you and looks great :thumbsup2

LINZ XXX :cheer2:

WOW, that looks so cool, I can't wait to see the other pics, and read the TR of course. Dang, I wish I had thought of another location too, that would have been so cool.
