FORCING me to head out to the mall on lunch and buy some more YCs! YOU!!! It's Your Fault!!!

Here is my dilema...I have 4 ceramic pumpkins (actually 5, but I didn't put it out this year). 2 small ones that I am putting chocolate truffle tea lights in. One of the larger ones has a chocolate truffle candle in it and the other has nothing! I need to go buy another chocolate truffle candle! Or I need to replace them all and buy candy corn YCs (thanks to whoever posted about that...You're killing my wallet).

Plus I have this large "thing" that looks like a head/face (could be a planter, but I've never planted anything in it) which I was thinking might look cool with a really big YC in it (and since they are enclosed in glass it would be relatively safe for Halloween). Now what scent should I buy for that?

Who started all this YC madness??? Who is to blame! My wallet wants to know!

Well, I DIDN"T start you on your buying spree....but I would suggest Harvest, this is my all time favorite fall scent from Yankee.

It's so much fun sniffing isn't it???? Tell your wallet to calm down, it will be ok...til the next wave of candlemania strikes!

P.S. I went through my own candlemania about a week ago...ordering, buying...trying to decide...what madness but I LOVE EM!

I'm with you on this one, Liz. It's everyone's fault. I'm in that darn store all the time now. Try the Balack Licorice they have out for Haloween. It's absolutely yummy. A special friend sent it to me and it's now my new favorite.

Ok, the mall is about 15-20 minutes away...I have an hour lunch. So I rush to the mall. Run in (talk about power walking...maybe I burned some of those calories from the candy that a co-worker keeps on her desk for Halloween...by the time we actually hit the holiday I'm going to be 5 lbs heavier). Look for the candy corn/ Trick or Treat votives. The only have one! So I decide I will find another chocolate truffle votive and do a big YC for my outdoor "head" (affectionately known as Mo-Fo...I think he kind of looks like a tiki head and love him, but DH does not). Good old Mo-Fo will have a YC radiating out of his mouth on 10/31. And he'll smell yummy (the thing really does smell like Candy corn. Now if I could only find a bag of Brach's Candy corn, I'd be in caloric heaven). Turns out they have some unwrapped chocolate truffles on sale, but I resist temptation and only purchase one. BUT, there were some tarts on sale...so I bought 6 of those (figured another YC Exchange will come up soon and I will be ahead of the game). I ignored all the cool new holiday scents they had (ok, I took one sniff...yummmy) and checked out. $25 poorer But smelling might good

Rush back to the car and manage to get back to the office with 10 minutes to spare.

I'm with you tc~It's all Shep's fault. My favorite used to be hazelnut coffee but since the YCE my new favorite is Harvest. Mmmmmm........I need to get myself to the mall.......

I just pulled my leftover spiced pumpkin candle from last year out of the closet and started burning it! You are making me want to run fast as I can to YC for some new scents! Guess after a couple votes on this thread for Harvest, that will be on my list!

FWIW, the chocolate truffle in housewarmer jars/and votives were on sale a week ago at my local YC store.. they were 33% off. I was tempted to pick up some tarts, but resisted!

My local craft store had all the discontinued scents on sale! Got Chocolate Truffle and Garden Cucmber
Ooppps.....I didn't need any....oh well. When is that next exchange? LOL......I have enough for 4 or 5 now.

And I just had to have Blueberry Muffin!! Even paid full price for a large jar. I love that one!! It's one of my new favorites.
