that if you entered to park late you could get in the next day again. We are going to get to the hotel afternoon time , but I thought maybe waiting until the next day to go to Universal. But if we went that night for maybe a few rides and could get in the next day again that would be cool. Maybe it was just me but I really thought I had seen this mentioned somewhere on DIS. If anyones can give me an answer Thanks !

each time you go into the parks, you need a ticket.
i have not heard of what you posted currrently going on. doesn't mean it doesn't exist, just no knowledge of it.

back in 1995, there was a special that if you went in the park one day, you could return within 5 days after 3 pm by showing the previously paid ticket.

are you thinking of that promo that happened 12 years ago?
as far as i know, it has not been repeated since then.

where did you hear of being able to go 2 days in a row for the price of one ticket? if you could shed some more light on this, someone might know more about it.

I did not see this in a promo or anything. I decided to go to Universal and Seaworld this summer and I have been on the Dis for ever reading up on Disney and Universal and Seaworld. I thought I had read once in one of my up all night searches on the Dis that this happened. I know that at Six Flags the price lowers after a certain time and at Kneobles , so I thought anything was possible maybe this was true. I just knew if I asked this question on here I would find out if it was true or not. What I thought I read was after a certain time at night or if you bought tickets after a certain time you could return the next day.

i'll ask one of the employees i know that works at universal for their thoughts on it. maybe they would know the answer to your question.

like i said, i don't know everything so maybe there is a special going on.

i do know that the premium annual pass allows free express after 4 at the parks. but that is a different issue from what you are asking.

send me a pm if i don't get back to you within a couple of days.
i'll try to find the answer for you.

Thank you. It never hurts to ask it's the only way to find out. The $86 per person sounds good. We are only doing 2 days at Universal but I guess it is still a good deal. Thanks again

Could you please post it if you get an answer?:)

ok, when i get the answer, i will post my findings here on this thread.

if a person buys the special 7 day 2 park tickets for $85, you will come out ahead even if you only use 2 days of them.

i have not seen UO tickets that cheap .

it's a very sweet deal.

if you bought a one day ticket for just one park, it would be $63 + tax on line or $67 at the park. see the savings for the promo deal?

ok, i got the answer to your question.

i asked an employee and worded it the way you posted it.

the reply was, no.

you can not get in on the same used ticket from the night before.
if you go late in the evening and just get to do a few rides, that ticket you used is invalid to use again. you would need a new ticket for the next day to enter into the parks.

Knott's Berry Farm has an after 4 pm rate if you want to head over there. It is in California though!!! That's the only one I know of with a late day rate. Maybe Dorney Park too but I'm not sure about that one.

I know there are parks that offer this but the only one I can think of right now is Dollywood. If you enter after 3PM you can go back the next day free. The after 4PM discount is pretty common at amusement parks. I know several (all?) Six Flags parks and I am pretty sure all of the Cedar Fair parks (Knotts, Cedar Point, Kings Island, etc) offer a discounted evening rate.

Hi, You said something about Knoebles..........so, you kind of "clued" me in on your general location. Hershey Park does offer what you are talking about. If you buy a park ticket, you can gain entry the night before its used. They wil let you in at 5:00 PM........until closing. Then your ticket is good for the following day, I think they call it a "preview the park" special. We generally use that "free" time to visit the zoo, which only takes a few hours.
Thats where you must have remembered it from.
Later.........Syndrome

six flags great america does not offer the discount.

I wonder if the OP is thinking of the Star or the Adventurer ticket? Those tickets give you two consecutive days at one of the parks. They are special timeshare tickets. The reason why Universal gives the second day for free is because usually people spend half a day in a timeshare tour and this way they can go back and enjoy a full day at the park.

Well thanks for clearing that up for me. Anyway now that I have been thinking about this , and saw the post about Hershey, I think this is what I was remembering not Universal. I was going to plan a weekend in October to stay at the cabins at Hershey park , That has to be where I am remembering it from then. Also I think it is Dorney Park not Six Flags , because we used to go to Dorney every year and I think Sesame Place they have a discount after a certain time. I have been trying to plan all these trips and reading up on everything all at the same time. I guess I have all my facts mixed up. I feel dumb now , or I guess it is just old age , maybe I can blame the 4 kids and husband, anyway sorry about that , but at least I got an answer on it.
