I just found out New Hamphire don't have income tax, how do you guys pay for people to salt your roads. (Property taxes?) if so, are your taxes high?

No income or sales tax. They kill us with property tax! It's soooo bad!
But we are the live free or die state.

When we moved to NC we were looking for houses. On the listing sheet it had the property taxes listed. I asked the real estate agent if that amount was per quarter. She looked at me like I had 2 heads! LOL

I really wish we had never moved back, although I did miss my family....

I wondered if that was sleet I was hearing! I have been sitting at my scrapping table all morning.... kept hearing "rain" on the side of the house, but it sounded loud. Guess it was sleet. YUCK!! I hope this isn't like the year that we had snow on October 23rd. .............................P

It's icing all right, and it just turned to snow a few minutes ago. I'm working today, so I'm guessing we'll spend all afternoon going to cars that slid off the road into the ditch (which given the rain recently, are really big )

I'm in Pittsfield. We've been getting off and on flurries for about an hour now. I'm hoping for enough snow that I don't have to rake the leaves anytime soon.
