I thought Indiana Jones was going away....still there?

I was pretty sure I read that Indiana Jones at DHS was ending to make way for the new additions....but is that true? We are planning a trip in January......maybe I'm confused. Thanks in advance.

It's been rumored for a long time. He's not going anywhere anytime soon. The show will definitely be there when you go in January.

Last I heard Disney renewed the shows contract for about another 5 years

Oh, this is good news! We really enjoyed the stunt show, and I'd heard it was closing too (a while back, I think, before they announced the SW and TS expansions at DHS). Definitely going to be doing that one again!

I'd be surprised if they take away the stunt show since that's where they also host all the cheer/dance competitions correct?

The whole issue is WHERE WILL SW land go? Will it impact Indy? Will Indy be replaced in another format?

For now they need the capacity having just lost LMA.

Yeah I would think if they are putting that much money into a movie they would keep the attraction tie in

Thanks all. I tried searching for this topic but didn't have much luck. We haven't been to WDW since 2014. I know there will be some new things for us when we go. 7 Dwarfs Mine Train and the new Frozen attraction in Epcot to name 2. I'm not sure what else is new. Even the DIS boards look different since our last visit.

This is good news as I do love the Indy show so super glad it will be there for my trip this year.

I was also wondering when SW land does open would they replace the Indy Show with a Star Wars Themed stunt show?

It could have the audience participation bit being the Jedi Training academy kids.

oh and the plane scene being replaced with an X-wing or a Tie-fighter.

ooooh and the market scene could be Mos Eisley space port.

While there have been somewhat persistent rumors for some time of Indy going bye bye, I would expect that is not going to be the case. It may get a refurb / re write, but with at least one more Indy movie in the works, and the laundry list of things that are closed / gone from DHS, I don't expect that show to go anywhere anytime soon.

At the moment, they have closed too much and not opened much to disperse the crowds. Until they get some of the areas re-opened with attractants, i don't think they can dispense with any of the big hitting crowd fillers. That's some time off - couple of years.
