I'm suprised pin collectors are not angry that Disney is charging them 75 bucks and limiting the amount of charter year pins. I feel cheated by Disney that as a charter member my only chance to get charter pins is to pay outrageous prices for them on ebay! I didnt see anywhere on D23 about "while supplies last" or limited amounts or limited editions of the pins! Yet on Disney rewards they offered a Limited Editon D23 pin to one per member! The only Disney Magic I have experienced here is how Disney magically lifted 75 bucks out of my wallet!

I have been lucky to get one of every pin....BUT, there should be enough for EVERY member to get one.......

I am sad too, that I have not been able to get one of the pins yet.:sad2: How do we find out ahead of time, when a new pin goes on sale? I never got an email about when the Jimmy Cricket pin went on sale.:sad2: Otherwise I would have gotten that one!

The problem is people are buying tons of them at a time. I was playing around last night and it will let you put as many as you want of the same item in your cart (I tried with the statue and a couple other things just to test). So with one membership number, you could get a hundred pins, and I don't think that's right at all.

So people started some ebay craze for the Tink pin, which was available for two weeks at least, and now they're buying up every pin on the site. These people are going to really feel cheated when the pin they paid 300 bucks for isn't nowhere near that amount in a year or two after the craze dies down. I think it should be like two or three of the same item per member number. For the pins, maybe even just one.

I got the email, but I didn't have time to order before going to work. I'm a teacher so I can't use my school computer for ordering online. Unless something happens, they will all sell out before I get home from school. It is very frustrating. Maybe I will get the June one. I did use the "contact us" form on the D23 site to express my feelings about joining on launch day and not being able to get either pin. Maybe if people send in feedback they will produce more or limit the number ordered.

Considering they are strict in the parks as to how many of one style are bought at a time, you would think buying them on line would be much easier for them to control the number sold per person.
I would definitely write a complaint e-mail to make them aware of the situation.
There are probably just a handful of people with the pins. Hence the shortage.

Guess what??? It looks like they are going to be getting more of the pins in that sold out!!! So Disney heard us!!! Thank you Disney, you Rock!!!

I admit it, I don't get any of the D23 hype, but I am glad that folks are excited about *something* connected with pin-collecting ::yes::.

agnes!

Okay guys, I'm new to this site, but I found this page a few weeks back and remembered it because I too felt slighted by being a D23 Member and not getting my pins..... so to those of you who actually want the pin for yourself and (not to sell on ebay to other D23 members and take more from our wallet .....beleive me, I will check and call you out on it here....). Send me an email and I will give you important info. Hey times are hard and we are all in this together. Let's quit taking advantage of each other and make sure all D23 Members get our Charter Year pins. :cheer2: Ear of Collecting
