Why in the name of all that is sacred did I not know they changed the Fiesta Margarita at EPCOT???!!!!!!
Imagine my shock when I arrived, craving my favorite little cocktail, only to see the concoction has changed from "Lime, Strawberry, Mango, and Kiwi" to "Lime, Strawberry, Mango, and GREEN APPLE"???????
What were the powers that be in Mexico food & beverage thinking--this is scandalous and downright GROSS! I was fair, I tried the new "green apple" portion of the fiesta, but it is not the same and I found it thoroughly unappetizing.
All my fiestas, from this point until they rid themselves of the dreaded "green apple" flavor, will be missing the color green. I am not a huge kiwi fan either, but it fit with the other flavors--green apple does not and it doesn't really taste like "apple" either--it does, however, smell like "Apple Pucker" and I have only sniffed that--never imbibed.
I spoke with several of the CMs on duty in the Margarita Kiosk and they said very few people like the new flavor and they have had to listen to a good deal of complaining. I personally witnessed four unhapppy customers who made the mistake of ordering a "green apple" only margarita.
They did not seem to be pleased with the taste.
I simply had to vent--I cannot believe I arrived totally unprepared for this shock--it was nearly as bad as the one I had when they had moved the stand across the promenade and I thought it was gone completely, but that's another story. . .
