I can't find my Lightning Lane question!

I really have looked everywhere I can think of for the answer, TikTok, YouTube, forums.... I hope someone has gone and done the scenario we want and has the answer.

We are going to rope drop AK. We are not buying LL for AK, then we will head over to MK for the evening. I plan to buy LL for MK at our 7 day mark and book our first 3 rides. In years past, you would book your 4th LL after either tapping into your first LL or two hours after park open, then I believe you could book more LL's every two hours. Is that still the case? Starting two hours after AK I want to start stacking more LL's at MK for later that night. The only thing I find is people saying you can start to book your 4th LL after you tap into your first ride. I'd hate to buy LL for MK and only have the original three.

This is no longer Genie+ (never used that version but guessing those were the rules for that one).
This is Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass.
I recommend reading up on it.

You have to tap into your first one in order to make another one.
You can have up to 3 LLMP at any given time.

Thanks for answering and I have read about multi pass and single pass. I was hoping the 120 minute rule that used to apply with Genie+ also applied with LL's. Just never saw anyone say that it either still worked or didn't work.

You could buy for AK, book an early one in AK, tap in and then book the others in MK.

That’s what I would do. I tap into my LL at AK then update my others to MK. But I think it will depend on what attractions you are looking to book at MK.

Bonus: it’s always cheaper lol

I'll have to decide what rides are most important and pick which park to purchase LL for. Thank you so much for your input..
