Sounds like you are going through what my parents went through just a few months ago.
My parents were selling their house to buy another house - it sold, and they agreed to be out within the month (they had already found the house they were buying).
The kicker is, my brother was getting married within a two week time period, so they had to pack, move and try to get settled before the wedding.
I will tell you that I am glad I live 8 hours away, cause the stress was high during that time!!!
