Let me say first we have 3 dogs, my 9yo DD is allergic to cats. She's been asking about other pets. I've said no to snakes and anything in the rodent family.
She has started to be inventive. I've found a container of mud in a drawer only to find it was home to her worm.
She then also admitted to having a Beetle stashed in a box.
Today she comes home from school complaining that her back pack is wet and smells. The reason, while at recess she and a friend caught some tadpoles
. They then found a plastic container to put them and some swamp water to keep them alive into. Of course it needed to be put in her backpack to get them home
The backpack has been emptyed and hosed down. Not sure what to do with the remaining swamp water and any tadpoles still in there.
Maybe a snake wouldn't be so bad
