I think my son has pointy knees

Or...how to keep a 5YO boy in jeans that do not blow out in the knees.

This is actually funny. DS has put his knee through 5 pairs of jeans in the past 3 weeks. Yep. 5 pairs. I swear the child has sharp, pointy knees.

So my question is, how do you keep your kids in pants with no holes? Those iron on patches on the inside? Double knee pants like Toughskins? (Did you all know, they still make Toughskins???)

I hate to buy him a ton more jeans, because in another month and a half, he will be in shorts for the summer.

Suggestions?? Please???

With my son I did put the iron on patches inside. Works pretty well, then the rip out the seat!

I think I'd try the double patch thing. I don't really know personally because DD is a girly girl. She only wants to wear dresses - I buy matching leggings for the dresses during winter because with just stockings she'd come home -everyday- with holes in them - LOL
