I think my husband broke his hand!

Yesterday my husband and my daughter went on a bike ride. Their wheels got caught up together and he fell hard.

I love my husband but sometimes he drives me crazy. He suffered through yesterday and has a Doctor's appt. today. He is really hurting, his hand really, really hurts and it's swelled up. He also skinned himself up and hurt his shoulder.

He came home for lunch and he starts sweating. Will he let me drive him to the Doctor's, NO! I think that he's running a fever and he won't let me call off work to drive him to the doctors'. Of course, I'm hoping that he will have to get an e-ray and cast, so maybe then he'll let me help him.

The kicker to this is that today he told me he has to go out of town tomorrow. He'll have to get up at 4 to drive 3 hours to get to this meeting. I really hope that the doctor will talk some sense into him and tell him that he can't go.

Sounds broken to me.

DH broke a bone in his hand a few years ago. He was playing softball on our church team, and the grass was wet, he slipped and hurt his hand. He didn't think it was broken, but every time he turned over in bed that night you could hear the "click click" of a bone. He went to the doctor the next morning, it was broken, and he had to have pins put in.
