I think my AP's cost me too much.

We had free dining in Sept. for 14 days:cloud9: . We had bought 10 day tix with our package. Well the grandparents wanted to go with us around Christmas. We figured that it would be cheaper to upgrade to AP's:thumbsup2 since we were going for 10 days in Dec.. It was a really good deal. While we were there in Sept we booked bounceback free dining and made it our dates before our AP's expire. This way we only needed the one day base tix for everyone and we can save those:woohoo: .

Here's where the "cost too much" part comes in:confused3 . We had thought about a trip in Jan for our anniversary but decided we really couldn't afford it with me still being on Mat leave. Well these evil AP's possessed me to do something I said I would never do- look offsite. Well I found a wonderful house rental very cheap. After talking DH into driving off we went for a week. We absolutely loved it:love:. Even the 26 hours it took us driving (we had my Mom and SIL in tow) wasn't too bad.

Well since we had the AP's and enjoyed staying off site we thought we would rent a house in May;) . Three of our kids birthdays fall in the first two weeks of May so we booked a house so we could be there to celebrate their birthdays:wizard: .

Well last weekend I was feeling a little blue since it was our last weekend off before I return to work today. I just happend to look at the house we rented in Jan and it was availible. So after few phone calls to get DH the time off work:rolleyes1 and rent the house at an incredible rate, three hours later we were out the door and off to Florida:cheer2: . We got home last night since DH had to work this morning and I have to work tonite. It was great even though it was a little cold when we arrived it warmed up quick. It took us less than 24 hours both ways, weather and traffic were both good, except for the downpour last night only two hours from home.

Through fuzzy Disney;) math I have convinced Dh that it is our best interest to get the most for our money:rotfl2:.

Life is way too short (and so is mat leave) to not take advantage of every Disney moment!!!WAY TO GO REESE, I like how you think!:cheer2:
