i think I'm raising a giant

My oldest ds is 12 next month and seems to be growing by the day. His new school trousers are a 30"leg and his school shoes are size 10. He is 5ft 9 now, he has grown 2" since the start of the summer

I dread to think what size/height he will be when he is finished growing.

Anyone else have really tall kids?

My DD shot up when she was about 12/13 but hasn't really grown that much since. She is 5' 7". You may find your DS won't grow a huge amount in the next few years. I know we were concerned that DD would end up being the world's tallest woman at one point but she seems to have evened herself out

He hardly eats anything, he is really skinny so I think that makes him look even taller

im at the other end of the scale, i despair of dd ever growing she is 11 and still wears clothes age 9 ! and her feet are a size 13

My nephew is 11 and also wears size 9 clothes, so when my ds and him stand together they looks years different in age but infact there is only 6 months between them. Ebony is just turned 5 and wears size 13 shoes.

My DS 17 is 6ft and has been for about 2 years. His 30 inch waist never seems to get bigger but I've had to buy him 33 inch length trousers. He never stops eating!
Other DS was 14 last week and has suddenly shot up. He's only 2 inches below big brother. The jeans I bought in Florida in Feb ( which were too long are now too short!!) The other day he asked me ' What's it like being the dwarf in the family?'. I'm only 5ft 31/2. I may be a dwarf to him but I quickly reminded him that it's the dwarf who books Florida.
