I had to take THREE tests just to make sure I was pregnant...and I STILL wasn't convinced that I was until I went to the dr and heard the heartbeat! The first test I bought (it was a 2-pack) was First Response. I did like someone else said and almost trashed the test thinking it was negitive but when I picked it up I noticed something that looked like another pink line. The next morning I took the next test and the second line was a little bit more noticable but you still had to be looking really hard at it to see it. Then I bought an EPT test and that sucker came up with two DARK PINK lines.

Here's a tip: Test as soon as you wake up in the morning. The hormone levels in you urine are suppose to be at their highest in the morning.

I still have all three of my tests and I could probably take a picture of them so you can see what I'm talking about. It's the most confusing thing in the world to "think" you're pregnant but not know for sure. It sure did confuse my DH when I called him at work and said, "Sweetie, I think I'm pregnant" and when he asked if I took a test and I said yes and I "think" it was positive he was like, "Well, it's either negitive or positive so which one is it?" and I was like, "I DON'T KNOW???"

I was able to wait, but barely. lol However, they were definitely in the pink.

The test I took with my DD showed a faint pink line as well. And of course it was correct. I only took one test and that was enough for me.

With DS I was late with my period and I just *knew* I was pregnant. But I was overly anxious and kept taking tests while it was too soon to tell. I can't tell you how much $$ I spent on those tests!! But one Saturday afternoon after a family shopping trip I took another test that we had just purchased and ......taadaaaaaaaaa!!! Two VERY pink lines!!!! And after all those negitive tests, I marched into the family room with the positive one in my hand to show DH!! It was very exciting for all of us!!

But I sure do hope yours is right....

I can remember back to when I fell with my second. I was sure I was pregnant, but wasn't game to find out till I was absolutely sure

Not insane at all! You are excited as well you should be. I know during my bout with infertility I must have taken a million ovulation & pregnancy tests.

AntKim, I've been following your posts since last week. I don't post too much on the CB, but had to say something here. A HUGE congratulations to you and your husband!!!! I am so happy for you right now. We have three boys and they are terrific, you will love adding to your family, its so much fun! I just thought of something funny.I think I will post a new picture of myself monthly so you can all see how I am "growing"!Then you will all really be a part of the pregnancy!!!!

I took 3 separate tests, all different brands, before I actually believed it and still didn't tell my parents or MIL until I had the doctor confirm 2 days later, I was so nervous about a false positive. My doctor also said false negatives happen more than false positives, so I think a congrats and best wishes is in order. Thrilled for you! You may have to delay WDW, but once the little one is older, you'll have even more reason to go!

Kim, you would have so much fun with two boys! As much as I always wanted a girl, we were truly blessed with these boys. Our second and third are just 10 months apart!! They are best friends, absolutely inseperable now. Can't wait to hear the blood test results tomorrow.
