Going to WDW this summer... Either I'll cry from the happiness seeing DD with the princesses... Or I'll be crying from the aggravation of such an overwhelming trip... Can people post any pics that brought tears to their eyes? I.E. kids w/mouth wide open looking at castle, etc... I need some good photo op ideas I can steal & use for my upcoming trip.

It's not the photos that made me cry, it was the video footage of her. I didn't video her too much, but I do have video of her:

in the airport, talking about getting on an "aih-pane" and going to see "oofy"
sitting in her stroller in DHS for Osborne Lights pointing and yelling "SSSSSSNOW"
in crystal palace waiting to see Pigget and Pooh
On Dumbo - DH got in the one ahead of us to video tape us
Then running around waiting for fireworks after MVMCP

I should've video'd her more - those are so special to me.

The picture in my signature is just one of many that got me going. Our DD for some reason decided that she wanted to kiss each furry character on their nose and then hug them. We didn't tell her to do this and she didn't see anyone doing this so it really was priceless.

I know what you mean...I am getting choked up thinking about it!

Here are some ideas for photo ops:

* take pics of kids trying on hats in the gift stores and around world showcase...makes a great montage in photo books, scrabpooks, photo dvds, etc.

* playing in pool, especially going down the water slide!

* I got this great photo by accident on Kilamanjaro Safari: DS and DH were sitting on the driver side, at the window, about 3-4 rows back from front and I was able to get DS's face in the sideview mirror, with "Kilimanjaro Safaris" painted from the side of the truck also reflected...the African Savannah was in the background.

* Another favorite shot: 2 kids holding hands walking down the Boardwalk..taken from the back.

* A pic w/your dd on a horse on the carousel

* Minnie Mouse's house in Toon Town offers some cute possibilities too.

* I also like to get a pic of my dd eating different types of ice cream -- ice cream sandwich, cone, itzakadoozie popsicle, etc!

I hope to get some inspiration from this thread too!!!!

This is my tear-jerker. The little man just took off down Main St like he owned the place! (BTW The park was nearly empty for an 8:05am adr at CP and I was running next to him so he didn't get too far away! ;) )

I can't post it (don't know how) But I have a great pic with DD finally meeting Pluto ( her fav) for the first time. They are facing each other and she is smilingthe biggest smile and he is holding her hand, there is also a great one of them hugging. I also have a great Pic of DD on Dumbo( all she talked about since we planned the trip)Personally, I cry every single time I see the castle for the first time.

These brought tears to my eyes because...

DD was a huge Wendy fan and got to hold her hand as they walked through MK

DS loved getting those princess lipstick marks on his cheeks

DD didn't know why the photographer told her to look surprised, but I did

DD was a bit tongue-tied and star-struck meeting Capt Jack

OMG, great shots everyone.

I have NO IDEA how to post pics (pathetic I know)
Anyway,

I have an amazing picture of my son when MK had the castle dressed to look like CANDY. It was so delicious looking!! Pink and pretty!

My ds was about 3 and with HUGE eyes went running up toward the castle to LICK IT!
He did not want to leave the castle and we got the cutest picture!

OH the MEMORIES, he has literally grown up at Disney, so we have so many pictures that make me SMILE!

This picture isnt from a park but it was taken at Ohana while we were watching Wishes after dinner. My son was so excited about seeing the fireworks. This was one of the best nights of our whole trip! I could not have asked for a more perfect dinner.

My daughter dancing with Minnie Mouse was the one that got me. She was all dressed up from her BBB appointment and they looked adorable!

Here's my favorite of those kind of photos...my little guy absolutely mesmerized by the Magic Kingdom parade. This was his first trip, just a few weeks after his first birthday. He was born very, very prematurely (weighed 1 pound and 7 ounces at birth) so he looks much younger than he is in the picture. He spent over three months in the NICU and we almost lost him several times...so this trip was a major celebration.

And, here's one more....This time, he's three years old and seeing Cinderella for the first time at 1900 Park Fare. He loved Cinderella, so this was a HUGE deal for him.

Our last morning in Sept 07, her first trip.....my favorite:)

My dd was 2 at the time and she had been waiting all week to see Snow White, her favorite Princess. We found out she would be in Germany in a few minutes, so we sat on a bench waiting. The moment Snow White stepped out of the door, my dd took off running calling Snow White's name. Of course, I panicked a bit because she ran off through the crowd, but Snow White didn't miss a beat and she leaned down to give her a big hug. And the photopass photographer started snapping pictures. My favorite picture of the whole trip.

AWESOME SUCCESS STORY with the perfect picture endings! I confess to sometimes scratching my head when I hear of people taking their very young ones to WDW but these photos on this thread make me see why! Thanks!

This is my most fave pic of my DD from any holiday i think, she loves Chip and Dale so much and had seen them already twice on this day so this was time number 3 and they were all having so much fun

This 1 also brought tears to my eyes, she is a huge HSM fan and thoroughly enjoyed this moment, she's the 1 in the hat
