Could we please get a moratorium on mistresses speaking out?

John Edwards mistress felt obliged to tell us that they are "soul mates" and that he hasn't fallen from grace but fallen into Grace.

RALEIGH, N.C. – The mistress of former presidential candidate John Edwards says she is helping him live "a life of truth" and the two remain in love even after their affair helped trigger his downfall from the pinnacle of U.S. politics.

"Everyone talks about how Johnny has fallen from grace," Rielle Hunter told GQ magazine in an interview released Monday. "In reality, he's fallen to grace."

In her first public comments since she became known as Edwards' other woman in 2008, Hunter didn't provide any details of their current status but said Edwards is a great father who wants to be there full-time for their daughter, now 2.

"I know he loves me. I have never had any doubt at all about that," Hunter said. "We love each other very much. And that hasn't changed, and I believe that will be till death do us part."

Could we go back to the lovely days when Mistresses did not have publicist?

The "home movies" they made were enough for me. :scared1:

I saw a picture that accompanies the original article. She is laying on a bed holding her daughter. Her shirt is part way up so you can see her stomache.

Why did she need to do that pose, how does it help her credibility?

She seems totally unconcerned with how his other children are handling this mess.

Both of them disgust me.

Rielle Hunter needs to be prayed for. She is a sick woman who needs help. She fell for John Edwards' lies and believes him wholeheartedly. She said Elizabeth Edwards is abusive (yet doesn't know Elizabeth from a hole in the wall). Elizabeth can sue her for saying that. Ms. Hunter needs to be set free from whatever craziness is invading her brain. I will pray for her.

There are two other pictures with the article where she is wearing only a man's button down white dress shirt...in one of those she is sitting on her daughter's bed with a stuffed Dora, Barney, etc.

AND...you can see her underwear! Are you kidding me? Why don't these "mistresses" realize that anyone who will cheat WITH you will cheat ON you??? Absolutely NO moral character on either end of this mess.

Rielle Hunter 'in tears' over 'repulsive' photos in 'GQ'

Recommend Rielle Hunter seems to be having some regrets about her her GQ spread. On The View today, Barbara Walters said she had talked to Rielle Hunter this morning.

"She was in tears when she called," said Walters, "and said that when she saw the pictures in GQ she screamed for two hours. She said she found the photographs repulsive."

So Walters says she asked if that was the case why did she pose for them? "She said she trusted Mark Seliger, whom she said is a brillant photographer and quote, 'I went with the flow,'" recounted Walters.

Walters says Hunter "thought that having one of those photos was okay and would be sexy and that there were others that were just beautiful headshots, but that GQ picked photos to hit one note."

Give me a break!:headache:

I think that Mrs.Edwards is smart to leave these two to have each other. If I were her, my only issue would be that someday this cheap cheater mightbe raising my kids. ugh...the thought of it....:scared1:

Let's see if he continues to be her "soul mate" when she's washing his dirty underwear while she looks over her shoulder for the next pretty young thing to come and steal him away from HER.

Losers...the both of them. And to think, he could have been President of the United States....:sad2:

Well I just had to go check out the photos and ! I thought I was looking at one of those girlie websites that comes up when you mis-google a word.

How can she think he's such a great father??? What about being there full-time for the 2 kids he already had?

I feel sorry for her dd.

She's unconcerned because she's selfish (and a ton of other things I can't say here :rolleyes1)

Yeah, I believe that as much as I believe that he loves her till death do they part

If she's screaming after they were published, what was she thinking while they were being taking?

Nut job.

Are they actually still a couple? I find it repulsive for the "other woman" to openly criticize the wife that was cheated on, how classless.

I used to like John Edwards. Now I find him disgusting and pathetic and not just because he had an affair.

What did she think when she posing like that?!

LOL, well of course he loves her.......he's lost everything else in his life and she's probably the last person on the planet who doesn't think he's a lying, cheating, scumbag. :rotfl2:

If she wants a guy who is all of that AND denies being the father of his own child for a few years then those two deserve eachother. I just feel sorry for the child when they're older and find out what he did.

Oh, cry me a river!!! So, when others saw those photos, did anyone else's first thoughts go to Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction???

And the GQ interviewer must have been giggling pretty hard when Newsweek ran this story last month: The Quiet Dignity of Rielle Hunter, "John Edwards's mistress has been surprisingly silent in public."

I cannot imagine why she thought this article would be a good idea. What kind of outcome did she hope to achieve?

You would think after seeing Tiger's mistresses get torn apart in the media she would keep a low profile, if not for herself then for her daughter.

Silly me to expect a parent to put their child ahead of themselves.
