I've only been back a week and I miss everything.
The Planning ,the parks, the sights, the smells, the people.

My 2yr old was looking at the pictures of our trip and when we came to the photo of us outside our hotel room he started to cry and said "I want to go home" I said "to our hotel in Disney" he said yes I want to go on more rides.

I guess it is the where the Magic Lives.

So instead of being home sick, I'm Disney sick.

I feel your pain. The only way to get over being "Disney sick" is to start planning your next trip. Works for me every time!

i have that same feeling every day. I just got the best news tonight, my cousin is planning her first trip with her kids and she wants me to help...i am so excited. It got me away from feeling so down about having to wait l9 months to go back...it hurts, but at least helping her will make me feel better.

Let's face it, we are all addicted to Disney. Only at least this is a GOOD addiction, unlike some of the other vices we could have.

Oh my gosh! I am sick reading your post! It's been almost 2 years since we were there last and planning a trip soon. I can cry at the thought of Disney, the sound of Disney music, reading about disney trips. I can't wait!!!

I have been back a little over a week...in that time I have purchased

The very best of Disney Volumes 1 2 AND 3 to listen to in the car
The original Peter Pan
Lion King 1 1/2
Little mermaid 2
Peter Pan 2 Return to Neverland
The other Disney CD that has all the young groups singing the hit songs (incidentally these are the songs you hear when you are on hold at CRO :wave2: )
AND I am about to go get more, and it is actually helping to take the edge off till we go back for our THIRD time this year

Hi, my name is Minky, and Im a Disneyaholic:teeth:

I haven't quite been back a week and I feel very Disney sick.

We're taking a (2 year 7 months) old in Nov. How did it work out for you? I will have 3 grandparents in my arsenal! He's 100% boy and I hope we can handle him. His older siblings have been before so we want to go at our youngest son's pace.

TIA,

Lori

I'm sick too!!! We went at Easter and are planning for Christmas 2005!:hyper:

The only "cure" I know that works for me is start planning the next Disney trip!:D

My family feels the same and we just got back on Saturday! My DD (4) started to cry when we were leaving and said, "I like my new home, I don't want to go back to my old home, I like Disney World." I wanted to say okay honey we will stay, but I have to go back to work.

Lets all have a group hug:grouphug:

Count us among the sick too! We usually go every other year, but we decided we couldn't wait that long this time. We are returning in November and it can't get here soon enough. Keep planning and keep visiting this site, it helps.:smooth:

I get "Disney Sick" also!!!!:(

When we come home and I am showing family members our pictures, I get emotional when I am telling the stories behind the photos. When we go to WDW it feels as if we are coming home, because when we go there we have no stress and we can almost breath easier. I love it there - and Sept is beginning to not look that far away (when we are returning). We didn't go last year because of the birth of our DD#2 in August so we are really chomping at the bit to return and how exciting for us to return w/ an additional member of our family:) .

Minky,
The Disney music albums DEFINITELY help!! I have had Disney CD's for my car for over 5 years...and the last one I picked up September 15, 2001 when we were there!! Just going back the end of this month after a very long absence and so looking forward to it. During the past 3 1/2 years since I was there, I pull out the CD and play it on my way to work and have such GREAT memories of the fun we had associated with each and every song. One of my favorites is the CD that plays the music from Illuminations. I can see the show in my mind every time I play that!! Makes me feel a LITTLE better anyway.

Can't wait till we get there!!!

Kay
