For months now we have been planning our February vacation. My parenst and MIL were to be joining us. My parents had to cancel because one day when my dad showed up at work he was informed his department had been closed......have a nice life. They decided against going for obvious reasons.
My MIL on the other hand is still comng. Oh...side note... my parents were staying off site and meeting up with us during the day.
So since MIL is staying with us we have 2 rooms at ASSMO. (If she wasn't joinging us, we would be at POR with a trundle.) I talked with her today and she was kinda distant and I asked her if she had ordered her ticket, reserved her scooter from Randys or set up her oxygen delivery. She has done none of this! I'm beginning to think she is backing out on us. If so fine, but at least have the courtesy to tell us until waiting for the last minute! If she isn't coming then we would have switched to POR and saved a whole lotta money! Now I'm afraid at this late date if she bails, I won't get a room at POR with my AP discount! I am none too happy. She said she'll be calling us tonight because she couldn't talk when I called her earlier.
What do you think? Think she's bailing??????
So, if I have 2 rooms at ASSMO, $164. a night for both rooms, what should I do? Should I try to switch? Do you think they'll be anything available? I really don't want to keep both rooms if I don't have to. I know some will say that the extra room and 2 bathrooms will be nice, but we live in a house with just 1 bathroom so that doesn't matter. Besides I'd rather spend less so I can spend more!
