I've been trying for the past few days to book a CP dining package for 12/10 for my family of five, but so far there are no openings ANYWHERE. I just got off the phone with a CM who told me I could look online to see what's available and if there's something, I can book it online and then call and have it changed to a CP dining package. I'm prettttty sure that's wrong , but I thought I'd check here and just make sure. Thanks in advance!

No, you can't change a regular reservation to a CP package. You have to specifically book the CP package.
