we skipped photo with Donald (I know, the shame right? NO not really- I'm not paying $30 for a pic I know I won't be able to say no to! Have you seen my kid?!)

OMG I learned that about myself at Chef Mickey's! I looked horrible but the boys looks so cute... how could I NOT pay WAY to much for a picture of them next to a fake Mickey?!

We leave 3AM Sunday morning!!!! We wont get to CBR until (hopefully) mid afternoon Monday. I'm actually taking a break from packing to ck in on your TR. Good thing I did! I realized from your pic that I totally forgot to get my LGMH laminated.

Tusker House... pastries, breads, Mickey waffles, plenty of breakfast meats, potatoes, biscuits-n-gravy, freshly carved meats, a few ethnic foods, LOTS of fruits and cheeses, and I am leaving TONS out. Note: don't eat the quiche. so very strange. it had nuts in it.

WOW thats awesome that you got to see a lion! Best I got to see was some hair peeking over the rock. My boys thought I was nuts when I told them "theres a lion" Seriously that pic of Cam pulling down the visor is great

I think it's because we went at 8:10 in the morning and the animals were very willing to cooperate.

So glad you posted an update. Really enjoying your TR. You are correct, people can be so cruel. I've learned to ignore them.

I sure wish I could ignore them! Why do I even care?

So glad you made it to rope drop at AK. I think it is one of my favorites. (although I am not entirely sure why). Boo to the people who were rude to you. Good grief... You are carrying a small child. For all they new she was about to be sick and you needed to get her out of the line asap. I NEVER try and judge peoples motivation. You just rarely know what is going on... and in many cases...I have been there or done that. (having 4 kids will do that )

Can't wait to hear how Tusker went for you. We have an early (before rope drop) ADR on our last day.... have never been there for the breakfast, so I would like to know that it will be worth it.

Coming home and jumping right into work/school starting was very challenging, but I made it through pre-planning and the first student week, and it was a really enjoyable week at that, so maybe it's just me missing Disney. next year we are leaving the day after my last teacher duty day YAY!

okay, I'm in.

I usually don't read TR's. This morning the "I've been gone from Disney too long" blues got the best of me so I sat down with a cup of coffee and thru my sadness decided to peruse the TR's. Stumbled upon yours. It's working for me.

Sort of.

2 hours later, I'm happy as a pig in slop and sad as a mule eating briars at the same time.

You have such a great way of telling a story-
enjoying it so very much. It's making my Disney blues seem a little less, but more at the same time. Only Disney would have you in such a state of confusion.

I want to stay at WL as well- it is so beautiful and I've always enjoyed visiting there when we go.
Our last stay was at the Poly.... (your 'Ohana update was fantastic Love it there--) but next time it will definitely be somewhere else.

Your Baby wins cutest baby on the DIS award. ahhh, those baby days- I miss them very much. They absolutely go too fast. The picture of her pointing to the castle is absolutely priceless.

Can't wait to read more....

Mike's on the phone now with Hewlitt Packard (our main laptop kicked the bucket... again) so I should probably not get myself very deep into writing an update while Cameran is smacking the TV with a toothbrush, counting to 8 in spanish, and standing in her dad's crocs. Oh I'm gonna be on my toes this weekend, I can tell already. Her neediness last night (I think) came from a normal adjustment to Mommy not being home all week anymore, and Cam having to spend a lot more time with PopPop and Nana. She's developed this low, pathetic sounding call for all of us when we leave the room: "Mom-eeee" "Did-eeee" "Pa-Puhhhhh" Nan-Uhhhhh" whine whine whine.

I have gone to Tusker each time we have been to WDW (once we went twice even) It is a must do for us. (just have never done breakfast) Now...dh...he ALWAYS says he is unimpressed. So I am right there with ya...don't know where he has been eating either. Tusker for me is the best buffet I have ever been to.

I just finished "Lines, and tired, and stares, oh my!" Parts One and Two and I LOVED them! I must say, I felt a strong desire to ACCIDENTLY kick some of those people in the shins who were mean to you in line. Jerks.

Anyway, onto happier things, like that picture of Cam with the muffin in her mouth. Your TR has a knack for making me choke on whatever is in my mouth while I'm reading it. Today it was Gatorade. I need to remind myself to stop eating and drinking when I am reading your updates!

Don't feel bad that you kept getting the "look"! I can't even begin to count how many vacation pictures we have where someone is photo bombing our shots with that exact same expression on their face. Let em' stare, I say!

I am SO glad I ended up making an ADR for Tusker House! Your update reminded me how delicious their breakfast is!

After our fabulous meal and character visits at Tusker House, we left Africa (kind of unsure where we wanted to go) Our FPs were ready to be used for Kali River Rapids, and while spending the rest of the morning and early afternoon dripping wet sounded VERY appealing, we wanted to save that for later, so we decided to head to Dinosaur to grab FPs there. We went ahead and got FPs for both of us, since we really didn't need to get any other ones (apparently "we" don't like roller coasters...) They were for 11AM and it was a little after 10, so we hung out HERE

and stood in a remarkably short line (3 minutes) for what mike and I called "The Dumbo-Looking Type Dino Ride"

Turns out the ride was just as short as the wait. We left the stroller behind at Dino-Dumbo and walked around Dino-Rama for a little while, until Cam found herself a funhouse mirror!

"Who do you think you are making me look that fat?!"

After Cam showed that mirror who's boss, we made our way over to the Boneyard to kill time until one of us could go ride Dinosaur and leave the other parent in the boneyard with the Camster.

"I'm here."

"and so are my hands!"

All I have to say is "Hello. So good to see you. and where have you been all my life?" .....Aaaaahhh.

Can you imagine how good that would have felt if we HAD ridden Kali River Rapids first??

While I was checking out the cool slides they have in the boneyard...

My very ummm... interesting DH, was channeling his inner monkey, or cougar, or hyena... told you I'm not good with animal identification. YOU try it!

So anyways, Cam had some slide time with Dad

before I (I designated myself as FIRST hehehe) had to leave to ride Dinosaur at EXACTLY 11:00am.

Very cool ride. But I laughed the entire time.

I'm in the back row, on the right. laughing hysterically.
