Yay! Am I first??? So glad you've started! Can't wait to hear all about it!

I've been traveling down here to Florida but i'm here now. We're at the Hilton in Melbourne, but tomorrow evening we'll be in the World!!!

Can't wait to read more. Already made my DH listen to your Top 10! Loved the one about the refillable mugs! I use mine every day! I'll try updating facebook with the mobile phone version. Did it today but not with a pic. Will try tomorrow at Disney.

What cute pics! The WL room looks so peaceful! Now you have to update us as to whether Mike felt more relaxed after his shower (that is too cute that he does this instead of verbally venting - it kills two birds w/one stone ). I need to pass this along to one of my sons (no names will be mentioned ).

He came out of the shower in a much better state. He was a very clean man this trip! The funny thing is, when I get frustrated, I like to take pictures (hide within the camera), and he showers. Needless to say, I don't have one single picture of the bathroom.

There is a very good reason for the title of this update... I will give you an early clue- Remember my stroller? BOY AM I GLAD I didn't spend all that money on a spare wheel because little did I know, that WHEEL was the least of the problem.

Our first night was ridiculous, which I guess in hindsight was a great contributor to the day we are about to have on Day Two- MK Day. Cam went to sleep around 9:45 pm, I journaled a little, then I too hit the sack at 10pm. 10:15- she's up screaming, whaling, sobbing. I don't know why- I was sleeping right next to her (Mike had a bed all to himself because I was worried about my little girl all alone in that great big bed. I didn't want her to wake up in the middle of the night screaming..... ) So we took her out onto the balcony- and for those of you who asked- we didn't have a view to talk about. we had a sidewalk between us and the villas, and trees. It was a nice place to sit and watch people walk by, or the occasional bicycle, and Cameran quieted down as soon as we let her out there, so it worked out just fine, but no fireworks (pun intended )

We got her back in bed at 11:30pm and we all went back to sleep.

2:00AM I am woken up to a little face staring at me, whispering "Goldfishies.... Goldfishies... Goldfishies..." Ok, Cam. So I got up and got her some Goldfish Crackers and juice. Now she's wide awake and jumping around in our bed like a trout in a stream. New plan... STACEY! I turn on the TV and let her watch Stacey's Must-Do's over and over and over again. At 4:00 AM I woke Mike up. "your turn." We switch beds, he says "Cameran lay down, go to sleep. Now." Within 2 minutes they were both snoring.

4:20 AM I can't go back to sleep. So I wake Mike up and switch beds with him again. Ahhhh, better. Zzzzz.

6:00AM Alarm clock goes off. Time for Mommy to get the day started. I jumped in the shower, got dressed, and ready by 6:30. Mike said he wanted to get up around this time, so I woke him up, then I grabbed our refillable mugs and headed over to Roaring Forks for coffee. When I got back about 10 minutes later, I started doing the "we have to be out of her by 7:15, we can't miss rope drop again" dance. We tried, I mean really tried to wake Cameran. She was a bear- yes my "sweetie" went all demon.

Somewhere between trying to get a demon dressed and cute, and remembering that I didn't pack the THREE bags to take to the park yet... we were running quite late. We got to the boat dock at 8AM. So did everybody else... and their mother, their grandmother, their third cousin, and third cousin's ex-roomate LONG line! Somehow, we all got on that boat! (the bigger one, although we folded the stroller anyway because we were really packed in there).

We finally got to the Magic Kingdom (much after rope drop) about 8:15am. It was EMH today so I didn't entirely expect to see this at bag check:

We finally got all three bags checked and entered the gate. I love this picture of Cam "just taking it all in."

The perfect foreshadowing for the rest of the morning to come is evident in THIS picture that I like to call "letting it all out."

I positioned Cam and Mike on Main Street in such a way that I could get her first reaction to seeing the castle- yeah. all I got was "No Pictures."

"Magical Meltdown #1" ensued. We took her into the Emporium to buy her a sippy cup because Mommy left it in the room. $8.95 later we had the world's WORST cup, and still a screaming toddler. that is, of course, until she saw THIS:

The crying stopped and we could go about our day now.

Next mission = find photopass photographer. Done. She was totally wonderful! She got some great pics (still waiting for them ) and my favorite was one of Cameran from the back pointing at the castle. Now THAT'S the photo I was trying to capture earlier! I'm glad we got it, or someone got it for us I should say.

We headed down Main Street on a very hot, yet beautifully sunny day

Before we could go any further, we had to make a stop at what Mike started calling "Stacey's favorite ride...." THE BABY CARE CENTER Cameran fell in love with the chair! About 10 minutes later, "the cool dad," "the Diva," and the "hyper mom" went to visit Walt and Mickey.

and Cam FINALLY realized just how BIG the castle is in real life...

Upon enter the other side of the castle, Daddy (Mike) pointed out to Cameran that someone she loves is just ahead...

It was only a 20 minute wait on Dumbo (which was FINE with me because it was about 9 and the whole rest of the planet was charging fantasy land right behind me. We jumped in line, and BOY was it hot!

Almost exactly 20 minutes later, I was boarding the yellow Dumbo with Cameran (Mike went out the exit to take photos). These are some of the best he took...

What a great first Magic Kingdom ride for my little smoochie! Now I'm hungry and there's a cinnamon roll at the bakery with my name on it!

Will this day stay this "magical?" or are we in for a complete BUST?"

Amazing how kids can easily go to sleep when Daddy says go to sleep now! We had to buy Shelby a sippy cup at the Emporium too cause we left hers in the room! I posted a pic of it earlier today in my TR, let me know if it's the same cup. This cup was not that great either! So glad that she enjoyed the Dumbo ride. After Shelby's meltdown on the Magic Carpets, we didn't even attempt Dumbo!

Grrr, I'm so angry at myself! I missed a whole day!! Oh well, I'm all caught up now and I am LOVING IT! Your commentary is hysterical. I started choking on the bowl of cereal I'm eating a few minutes ago because I was laughing so hard at the "Goldfishies...goldfishies..."!

I'm glad you got everything settled at WL. When you said they didn't give you your gift card I was like . I was happy to read that they didn't get you any trouble about that!

Love the updates! I hope Cam started to sleep better the rest of the trip! You were a lot calmer then I would havea been if one of mine woke me for some fishies! That update made me laugh out loud....as your children get older, you forget those little things....not sleeping in strange beds til daddy tells you to I was dying!!!
