I booked our Disney trip already for early Nov. So, does this mean that if the free dining deal comes out, I am not eligible? Before I booked, my MIL told me that I could always call and they would apply the discount. Also, when I booked, the woman at Disney told me not to put so much money down at once. She said because most likely they are going to have a special at the time we are going and it's easier to pay less, than wait for a refund check. Can I still get a discount if I'm already booked? If not, off to try (harder) for a pin code I go.

Yes you can apply future discounts. You have to pay the balance in full 45 days before your trip. My TA advised me to pay some now and just gradually pay but not the whole balance before 45 days. Apparently if you are paid in full it costs you to change? But you can definitely add a discount.

Yes, you can apply it (we have done it several times) but you need to call Disney (unless you booked through a TA, in which case they call) and ask for the discount. You will need the booking code to do this. Disney will not upgrade you automatically.

As for paid in full, my understanding of the terms and conditions is that it is not the fact that you have paid that requires a cost to change, but whether you are within the 45 days or not (which is when you would need to be paid in full). If you pay in full early, it just means you would get a refund.

Yes, but you'll probably have to wait a bit longer for November offers. The initial release of F/D (should it come as expected) probably won't include November dates right off the bat.

Either this offer will be extended or a new offer for those dates will be released later on.
