I think I have a problem with online booking

By my calculation and by what I was told by Disney reservations I can start booking my ADRs tomorrow, October 18. I went online just to have a look at the site so I would know what I was doing tomorrow. I decided to just try it and see if maybe I could go on and do it now and also to just see what they needed. I put in my reservation inforamation but when I went in to put my ADR it showed I could put in a ADR for Friday but not today which is actually the 90th day. Am I going to have trouble tomorrow? The only one I really really want to get tomorrow is supper at Chef Mickey's on a Thursday. Hopefully no one will want to eat on Thursday nights.

Not quite understanding, at this point it should be able to retrieve your reservation but you won't see all of your days until 3:00 am (EST). Set alarm clock for 2:30 and clear out all your brower history from computer so it runs faster, go to DD page enter your most important restaurant, then keep refreshing as you get closer to 3:00 a.m. Once it clicks you'll see all your days come available. You can start on any day you want, so go for your most important and maybe hardest reservation first. If the time doesn't work for you (they'll only give you around the hour you entered), hit modify (upper right hand corner) and try another hour. Good luck, you can mess with it now without putting your ressie number in and go thru with ressie just to see how it works.

Since you wrote this on a Saturday, that means that the current 90-day window will go up through a Friday. To make 90-day reservations for a Saturday, that window always opens on a Sunday. And in your case, tomorrow morning the window will open for Saturday and the next ten days beyond.

I too am having problems. I was told by the ADR on the phone I could make my ressies until Sunday. I went on the on line reservations at 3:00 and it states I cannot make reservations until tomorrow. ???

I even checked at 3:20 am and still nothing,. Looks like I will now have be sure sure to be up at 7:00 am to call in my ressies..

I made ADRs on Friday and the dates rolled over at 6 a.m. (5 a.m. Central) instead of 3 a.m. as was previously the norm.

I did not try until 6:15 today and did not have a problem. Glad I did not try to way up at 3:00.

I just wish the word would spread that 6:00 a.m. appears to be the new "magic time". Save people the trouble of getting up at 3 a.m.

I'am so exhausted was up past 11 watching tv with DH. Heard 3 yr GD being restless at 1, checked on her. Went back to bed alarm went off of 2:35. Went on line with both desktop and laptop preparing to get all ressies. While as mentioned before the switch over for the dates did not happen. Read comments about change to 6 here so I reset my alarm to 5:35. Went back to a restless sleep. Got up with the alarm went on line and everything switched over at exactly at 6:00 am Was able to make all ressie but unable to get the Liberty Tavern, no matter what time I put in. . So I waited to 7:00 called in via phone ADR and they were able to pull up a slot at Liberty Tavern on the day I wanted. Wonder why it did not pull up on line.? Started to fall asleep on the couch to catch up on sleep and and my GD woke up. Oh well it will be worth it.

A coworker said a CM told him this. His last trip they were trying to get CRT. He called every day faithfully and there never was a table for 4 I think is what they needed. Finally he must have been getting the same CM because she asked for is number. She called him back from her cell and said ask for a table for 5. He called back, asked for a table for 5 and got it. I did the same thing on 2 of my reservations this morning. I needed a table for 6, 4 adults and 2 children. 2 different ones I could not get the times I wanted so I changed it to 5 adults and 2 children. Voila! Got the times I wanted. I may now go back and amend the number of guests (not sure if I can) or just wait and when we get there just say someone decided not to come.

yeah i woke up at 2:45 am to make my adr's on saturday ... it didnt work! i was up till 4 am getting madder and MADDER went back to bed and tried again at 6 am with still .. NO SUCCESS! it finally worked about about 6:10 am .. and i got everything i wanted

Tried a couple of minutes after 6am and got everything I needed except LTT and MM Fantasmic Pkg for 10. Called at 7:00am and got LTT & MM Pkg. We're all set!

That is great advice, but now your days will show up at 6 AM EST, and I still have the circles under my eyes to prove it. A couple of other DISers and me had our own 4 page thread wondering why our day wasn't opening up at 3 AM EST. Well, I was the only to stay up the whole time until it worked, which was at 6 AM on the nose. One of the other DISers and I made an agreement to text the other one as soon as our date appeared. I had gotten up at 2:15 EST to practice with the site a bit. I am so glad that it is over now, and that we all got what we wanted!

I think that next time that I'll just sleep longer and better and call first thing.

If you do the latter, you'll forfeit the payment you made for the phantom diner. Instead, call at least 48 hours in advance and tell them you need to cancel one member of your party.

I wouldn't ask to "amend" my reservation, even though that's exactly what you're doing. That choice of words might cause the CM to try to rebook a new reservation for the smaller size, which, of course, won't be available.
