I belong to several Disney forums. I cannot stand when people go from forum to forum complaining about people at the "DIS". I have posted some responses that will probably get me kicked off some of them, but please, if you can't handle the input don't post!

I'm sure some people don't appreciate the banter that goes on here in the Community Board. Some people aren't all that thick-skinned and they probably run off to talk about how "terrible" we all are.

If I was a CM, I'd probably complain about a few people on here, too.

It is not the CM's complaining that I have a problem with it is the other guests. For example:

ok so without a lot of drama and fanfare (like what happened when asked on another board).
if we book connecting rooms for our family of 6 (children will be ages 5,3,3, and 1 at the time) and they aren't available, are we going to get kicked out of disney if we still pay for two rooms and just choose to sleep together in one?

I think its because of some of the money saving ideas or cool things that become the "in" thing to do around here. Could be all the entitlement that this board seems to have on it too.

Some are just way over the top & hundreds of people start doing them.

I never understood why people get so upset at things they read on the internet. I've had some pretty good debates here at the Dis, and I hold nothing against the people who disagree with me. To me it's a fun community where we all discuss from various points of view, but I guess some take it very seriously.

If I ever met someone I got "into it" with here, in Disney World, or anywhere, I'd smile, say, "Hey DIS-er!" and offer to buy them a drink.

And sometimes it is just better to let it go. It took me a long time (okay I am really naive) to even know there were alter "Dis" worlds out there.

Have to stop here and insert for the Seinfeld episode with the alter universe group of friends...

Same here. I love a good debate, and I don't often even remember from thread to thread who I'd gotten into a disagreement with previously!
