I think I am turning into a super planner...

I need help figuring out what days to go to what parks.....

I've seen on websites where they say, but sometimes I don't trust it....

any one willing to help me out and take a gander at my spreadsheet thus far??

when is your trip? just by going on all of our trips last year (6)-we have to start our 1st day @ MK, and that is usually on a Sat. my best advice is to start early. our schedule is normally like this: MK - get FP to space 1st
(remember your fp is good any time after the time on the ticket).
2nd day - hollywood studios-get fp for rnrc or tot
3rd day - epcot - fp straight to soarin
4th day- ak - fp to ee and then safari
during our trips we go to universal during the middle of the week and we have a day that we relax and do whatever.
you will learn everything you need to know on this board. i love to help people plan their trips. if you have any questions, feel free to ask away!!

well i get told im crazy cause i spend half my day on this website..me DBF gets mad when i try to ask him a question about diseny cause he always says its 5 months away im not thinking about it right now..but i always am!

I'm so glad there are so many others out there. My DH also thinks I've lost my mind, but when you look out and only see snow it nice to plan a vacation even if its not 'til Dec.:goodvibes

i think that most everyone on the disboard is a big planner. we are always planning our next disney trip. i have questions about disneyland. we are going june 5-12 for the 1st time. did you have any good dinners at the parks or resorts? tell me your experience!

I don't want to get off topic, but I am WAAAAAAAAY more familiar with DL than WDW. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

We don't eat a lot of TS at Disneyland, but we LOVE Goofy's Kitchen.

<<<--------see my pic at Goofy's!

Thank you for this - even tho I consider myself among the obsessed with these boards - I love when there is a clear plan I can follow. Have you ever included SeaWorld in your plans? We are leaving in 3 days!!! Have 4 full days to explore, any ideas? I discovered these boards a few years back while planning a Disney Cruise. They were absolutely essential to the success of my trip. Went on again with a second cruise. This year, we just decided in January (one depressing Winter day) to go in March. I went on the boards a few weeks back to get some info on the dining plan and I have hardly done anything but surf these boards since. Love them, but have to say that I'm somewhat relieved I didnt start till a few weeks ago. Gotta get back to doing laundry, working and, oh yeah, feeding those kids.

Here's my happy dance:banana:

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought I was the only one with a problem.;) It's great to see so many Disney crazied people together doing what we LOVE, that is planning a great Disney Vacation.:thumbsup2

I can't tell you what a relief to know there are others who share and understand my passion (obsession) for planning. Family teases me, but, I also end up planning a rockin trip!! :yay:

I don't have a DH to make fun of me, but my DS13 thinks I have a problem!:rotfl2: I can't help it! We are going to WDW in August 2008. :cool1:

My mom called today. She's thinking of taking us all to WDW for New Year:woohoo:. :yay: :cheer2:

I don't know the name of the Restaurant at DL, but there is a really cool one inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. It's hard to explain, but when you ride PC you see people eating dinner. I hope it's still there. I haven't been to DL in a couple of years. Good Luck!

I love to plan. It really is helping me pass the next 18 months til my next trip. My coworkers also believe I am a loon, but who do they come to with any Disney question? Me. Today another office sent a lady over to my office because she was taking her daughter to Disney next week and I would have tips for her. :rotfl: Once your planning reputation gets out you will get contacted by everyone.

You are so right! I got completely ribbed last year in planning the familiy's (inc my sister's family and my parents) holiday. So much so that my sister's humorous ridiclue followed me into the school staffroom (she has friends I work with)...BUT when we were there, EVERYONE kept asking me what we were doing and what was planned !!!!! And since we got back, the memories often spark questions and nostalgic conversations at school - 2 minutes of light relief in a sea of furious learning!!

Half hour??? I won't even say how much time I spend here :rolleyes1

Okay, now this is going to sound really sad, but reading the DIS is a 'treat' after I've done all my work (am studying as well as job).... :upsidedow

Can usually manage half an hour before I am asleep...but MUCH more at the weekends and hols...can't wait for Easter next week. :surfweb:
