We didn’t upgrade our universal tickets on our first Orlando trip. Did so with the Wdw tic but didn’t realize how much we would love Uni.

So, lesson learned. Had to spend the initial ticket cost again about 6 months later, but oh well. It worked out fine for other trips.

See? You might have to cancel or change that trip, or end up paying what will likely be an even higher price for tickets it APs for that trip.

Now that you’re going often bc of Dvc you have to take a longer view of things. This is no disaster. Not even close.

So! I have an update... they are being so kind... he said he would let me do it but there is a catch... I would have to wait until get to the park and we would not be able to book any fast passes... also something I didn't think about is it would expire March 10 and we were considering a spring break trip 2019 which it would not be good for... so..... How many park days did you do this trip and how many would you do in June? If it's even 3 days each trip I believe it's a better price to get the Gold AP. Now, you bought the memory maker but I believe that's another $100 plus. It really doesn't take much more than just having 2 trips in a single years time to have the AP make sense. Now, going forward - if you go in December than your covered. Next March? Then again it depends on the length of stay. You'd be eligible to renew the passes which is at a discount vs buying new.

I am so mad at myself... I considered buying season passes because there was a possibility we would be going again but we weren't sure.... so I figured play it safe and if we do go twice it would about even out without the risk.... well, now we have returned from our spring break trip, too late to bridge to AP and now it looks like there may be a 3rd trip dec or march on top of June and I am so sick!!!!!

Now, I can buy it but the prices have gone up, I have wasted so much money on memory maker for march trip, I am so upset with myself I cant stand it!!!! I usually make good financial decisions but this is a disaster.

Its so hard to plan all of this so far in advance.... UGH!!!

Don't feel bad, I did the same exact thing. We went this past January, I had a feeling I would be going back with my daughter, for Halloween and yup, I am. Doing the 4 day park hopper again for this trip. And getting the Halloween ticket. Oh well.

I'm sorry you are in the same boat!! Its just so hard to plan so far in advance... but oh well... we are still unsure of the timing of the 3rd trip, may be after the AP would have expired.. so that makes it better!!

Thanks!! The longer I pondered it.. like any bad news you get... it gets easier!!! You are so right... lots of things change, life is hard to plan..
