So, yeah, um, it all happened so quickly. I really had no idea that the Disney special was coming on Travel Channel last night. Just sitting there and bam, there it was. So I was just looking at it, casually, remembering the last trip, how fun it was. Happened to have my laptop in front of me, booted up, so I surfed over to Disney's travel site. Clicked on the annual pass link. Just to peruse the page, ya know? Wasn't going to click anything else. Wait, what the? How did those 4 annual passes end up in my cart? Hold on now, let's think about this. Is this really a good idea? What the....checkout complete? Expect delivery in 8 to 10 days?

Anyhoo, guess I'm planning a Thanksgiving trip. Looks like the deluxes are booked. We've stayed at POFQ before and really enjoyed it. Any other moderates I should consider? We're going to have a rental car so we don't have to rely on WDW transport.

Good for you! The only moderate I ever stayed at was CSR, and it was beautiful! I guess the prevailing wisdom is that CSR is the best moderate, unless there is a convention going on, if so stay away!

Honestly, your judgeship, we were innocent of a happy misdeanor of honest intentions. We broke no commandments and will honestly spend our time in blissfull consignment in any park desired. Ha! HA!

We have stayed at POR and CBR. Giving CSR a try this Dec.
I like the theming better at POR ABsection better than CBR. Have a good trip

Well, since you got "them aaaannual passes," the judge will likely sentence you to stay at all of the moderate resorts over the next year.

We've stayed at all 4 and my favorite is POFQ; DD12's favorite is POR. We both didn't care for CSR because of the convention-feel and we didn't like the food court set up. CBR is nice, but spread out.

I loved POFQ and would go back in a minute.
I liked the theming, the fact that it is smaller and compact, you can eastly get to the Food Court or Bus Stop and I liked the fact that the Bus Stop was the first in the morning and the first to be dropped off at night.

We also really liked POFQ, being from New Orleans we thought the theming was very well done. Guess I'm leaning toward CSR since we've never been there and I like to try out different resorts.

I prefer POFQ to POR. I think it's the size of the two, the POFQ being smaller. Haven't tried CSR or CBR, so can't speak about them. I have read pros and cons. Most people against them mention how large and spread out they are.

I say try CSR and then go back to POFQ in the spring

BTW I totally believe your story, that damn mouse just had a mind of it's own!! I'm so sorry that you now have to endure all of the trips to WDW with that annual pass.

I loved staying in POR espeically on Magnolia Way (?) with all of those big southern looking houses! I also love the interiors of those rooms too. I have never been to POFQ, I'll have to one year. Have fun!!!

I would suggest either CBR or POR/POFQ. The UCA Allstar cheerleaders have their practices and several of their other group functions at the CSR - the will be staying at the ASSports - they arrive on Tuesday and perform in the Thanksgiving day parade at the MK. I have been there and done that-----would not suggest anyone getting into the mix of 5000 or so cheerleaders......
