I survived the theme parks!

Well with the exception of an aching back and legs! I feel like i walked for three solid days. As for my eating I'm happy to report I did FAIRLY decent.LOL The first night was mama' dellas. I ordered a side ceasar and ate 1/4 of it, I had a piece of bread no butter. Still yummy and I ordered the eggplant it comes with no pasta just the three med eggplant slices with the sauce and moz cheese I had two of the three. That night we had our lowes amenties of cookies and milk. I had about 1/2 cup of milk and three bites of the cookie. OMG it was so good! I skipped lunch that day only having some ff wow chips for the car ride down and about 10 grapes all day besides the food from mama's. On Wen, skipped breakfast ate at the HRC I ordered the chicken fajitas's and made 1 1/2 fajitas with chicken and the salsa only soooo good about 3 glasses of water and i was so full.LOL That night we did margaritville I had the crab soup and grilled chicken ceasar i ate maybe 1/2 of it no bread that night. We moved to the HRH and cookies well they sucked for lack of a better word so i took two bites and that was it and 1/2 glass milk. Oh some time we were in the park and my dd wanted a snack we got an icee and a pretelz and we halfed the pretelz it was soooo good. On thursday we went to the sunset grill and got a muffin from the shop inside there i had a blueberry and eat 3/4 of it is was great! For our last lunch we had mythos. I ordered the corn and lobster soup. and a veggie pizza. I raked off all the topping and ate two slices of the pizza it was good. Many many glass of water was consumed during the trip and meals. I feel i could have done better but in reflection it could have been awhole lot worst too! So what do you think think i'll maintain this week? I'm scared to death to see what i'm gonna weight come sunday. I have got to rest my muscles they are sore so i know that means water retention. Any suggestions from the damage report on how to get the most outta my next two days? Would you exercise anymore? We did three straight days in the parks and walked from PBH and HRH many times back and two would you think that's enough walking? I have an ab tape that's low impact i may just do that tomorrow and call it a week. Any advise is appreiciated. I really really want onderland have i ruined it?
 
I'm sure you didn't ruin it!! You did very well considering all of the temptations!! All of the walking you did while you were there I'm sure made up for anything that you splurged on. Don't fear the scale because I'm sure it's not going to be bad at all. Actually with all of the walking you've done I wouldn't be surprised if you lost. Personally I think you did great. Welcome home!
 
Welcome back! Just remember the most important part is that you had a great trip. Sounds like you still stayed motivated and didn't go overboard on food choices. If you have a slight gain don't be too hard on yourself.:D

You sound like you did great to me! I know I wouldn't have had as much willpower as you. All that walking had to burn any calories you consumed! I think you should just get right back to your regular plan and don't try to compensate for what you ate on the trip!!! Just eat like you have been doing! :) I'm sure you at least maintained or lost! Don't be uspet if there is a small gain - might just be that your body isn't digesting the park food very quickly and if you do show a gain it is probably just food that hasn't made it's way out yet (heh heh!) ;)

Glad to have you back! Aside from the eating, how was the rest of the trip! It got chilly for a while, didn't it?
 

Tig is was down right cold yesterday. It was 57 when we headed out to the parks. We left after eating at mythos and made it home around 6. The rest of the days were pretty and sunny. It sprikled twice at night both times which did'nt affect our plans at all. When i got home dh had supper cooked. I had grilled steak, butterbeans boiled in spice chicken broth YUMMY, and spanish rice. I could'nt eat much as i drank water from the time i walked in the door. But man it was good to be home and eat my normal cooking.
 
Welcome back!! Glad you had a great time at the parks! I am not so sure I could hold back as you did, with all those wonderful temptations...The smells alone would make me want to eat! LOL

I'm so glad you are back. You know we miss you a lot when you are gone. Your sunshiney disposition is an important part of our support group.

I think you did very well and made the best choices possible while you were in the parks. You didn't go hog wild, good for you!

You may show some water retention gain this week but just keep drinking that water and perhaps you will drop the fluid before your weigh in, fingers crossed for that :)

The important question here isn't really how to do damage control. The really important question is <b>did you have fun???</b> I hope you did. Life is too short to not have lots of fun :)

I'm so glad you're back home, and that you had a great time!

I'm very, very, very proud of you. You did a GREAT job with your meals!! You planned in advance for your meals out, and stayed pretty close to your plan. You enjoyed your treats, but were SO GOOD about portion control!!!

I think you just proved to yourself that you can handle eating right as a way of life. These are *exactly* the skills we'll need to use stay svelte and sexy in the longterm! You can enjoy scrumptious treats like cookies and muffins and corn and lobster soup, just in moderate serving sizes!!!!

Sweetie, you've got no damage *to* control! At WORST, I'll bet you maintained this week. But with the really aggressive losses you've had, you'd still be way ahead of the game.

Absolutely true, and, for me, sometimes that means making a choice about food that I might not normally make. ;)

Of course you will make onederland! It might not be today, it might not be tomorrow, but it will come!
