I surprised DH with a night in a FW cabin

He thought we would be spending the night at All Star Sports. My cover story was so good that he didn't even realize we were staying in a cabin while he was watching me check in.

It was a great experience, the CM was able to give a cabin at 10 a.m. and we really liked the cabin. If we weren't DVC members, I could see our family spending a week there.

Loved your pix, ***********! We too loved the cabins. We actually had a wilderness home, the ones w/o the logs on them, but they were verysimilar inside. The only real difference I saw was the kitchen table only sat 4! It was nice for 5 of us, even though we didn't *cook* in the kitchen, it was nice for breakfast, snacks, hot dogs, popcorn, etc... Our trip in 2005 we will probably go back to FW! Plus, there is so much to do at FW. I know there have been many posts where people didn't like it there, but that's what's nice about the World, there is something for everyone!!

Surprises are always fun. It is nice to try out something different too! By the way I love all of your pictures. We are staying at OKW for the first time and checkout your pictures when I need a pick-me-up.

Thanks for the photos. My DH wants to stay in one of those on our next trip. I was a little hesitant, but those photos are convicing me.

We were going to take my DD's best friend, but she will be going to France, instead. So, it will only be five of us. Do you think 5 will fit comfortably?

I think 5 people would be very comfortable in a cabin.

We were in cabin 2604, but they're all the same. Location didn't matter to us, because we had our own car.
