How do you become a VIP? and how do those people who win best rooms win? is it just cuz someone on the vmk staff just happened to go into their room or did they enter a contest somehow like the way they did the space mtn competition? also, i've received credits for playing my mixes in the music game or play my song 50 times, then 100 times... is there a limit as to how many times they give u credits or is it in 50 increments? oh yeah and how did people get the dreams come true shirts, pins, and other itmes? oh and i now know that combining pins makes them more powerful... but how in the world would i be able to get the same pins over and over again? vmk does not allow this. unless there is something i dunno about... oh and since when have they had green pirate thornes?! i saw a girl had one in her room and i was like skskjfhsdfkjsdf!!!! i have pirate throens in ever color except green. and green in my fave color!

oh yeah... and how do u take pictures of the screen while in vmk?

The VIP badge is from the park tours which were done last year. They have been discontinued since mid-December of last year though. The VIP Pin is if you win best guest/game/quest room more than once.

Staff visits rooms that sound interesting or seem popular and take pictures of any they think are worthy of getting an award. The judges later decide from these pictures which they think is most creative/interesting/etc.

The music mix game gives credits every time you play your mix every 15-20 minutes. There are bonus credits for playing it 50 times, 100 times, 150 times, etc.

The dreams items were an Ebay promotion that just ended today. If you search the threads, there's a couple discussions on this topic.

The fireworks pins can be won multiple times from the fireworks game. The teleport pins (and formerly the invisibility pins) were obtained from the parks and you could get multiple ones after doing a quests again. The bat and snowman magic pins were buyable, so you could buy as many as you wished/could afford. And of course all (except the tomorrowland quest and kellogg's magic pins) are tradeable, so you can obtain more that way.

Green Throne chairs used to be beta. But then they were released during some staff events a few months ago. And they are now obtainable from Bronze Keys won in the Pirates game (however they are random from the treasure chests).

First... players who have the VIP badge along the top of thier profile have done NOTHING SPECIAL... for a while there was a tour IN the parks and if you took it, you got a card with a code that gave you the VIP thingy... I traded for mine.. They are fairly hard to come by, but no one did anything super wonderful other than taking that tour or trading for the code.

Music game... yup you keep getting bonus's on it.. not sure if it stays the same incrments... but you continue to get them...

Green pirate thrones were once fairly rare. A Host prize or special gift.. Now they can be won by playing pirates Level one enough to win keys... the level one keys sometimes offer up Pirate thrones of all the colors incuding green. I think I now have like 6 green chairs from pirates.. but I win mostly blue and purple chairs...

Some magic is sold.. if it's sold or you trade for it, and can have more than one, you can combine them into longer lasting/ faster recharging magic. This works well for all the Magics except Snowman for some reason. Some magic, like the old kellogg trio (crused storm, turn into a pirate and the showered in gold thing) can not be traded nor can you use the codes (which no longer work anyway)more than once...

To take a picture of yourself... Us the print screen option on your computer.. not sure how yours is set... but then you copy it to Paint (I think just about everyone has Paint) then save it AS A JEG file... from there you can upload it to a hosting site and post it.

I will try to answer this to the best of my abilities.


VIP - there are two ways to become VIP

One way currently is to win best guest room, game or quest twice. By this method, you can earn a VIP PIN.

Another way is to enter a code from a quest card ( no longer available at the park but was from completing all the quest available ) to get a badge.

To win a best room, game or quest does not necessarily mean you have to be on popular list but does mean you have to have a host visit your room while VMK is open. There is a better description of how they judge in the vmk newsletter on the homepage.

The Music Mix - to be quite honest i don't think i have reached 100 yet . Someone else will have to answer that one.


The Dreams Items - these were available as a side prize in the EBAY Dreams vacation sweepstakes. The are only obtainable now through trade, but vmk staff have said that some items may become available again in the near future.

Obtaining multiple pins - You can do this a variety of ways. Most common way is to obtain then is by trade. Fireworks can be won multiple times for multiple reasons by playing the fireworks game. It is best describe in the players guide sticky up top.
Teleport can me obtained multiple times by handing in a print-at-home quest to either DLR or WDW. Bat magic, Snowman, and Invisibilty are only available through trades as of now. They were available in game either in stores or by playing pirates.

Green pirate thrones - They can now be obtained by opening the bronze treasure chest by playing level one pirates games and obtaining a key. That of course is up to luck. You can get any color throne, nothing or credits.

To take pictures as in screenshots - on your keyboard there is a print screen key. Use this to capture your screen and paste in paint.

All of this and more can be found on wikipedia and the DIS/VMK players guides up top. There is alot of information about vmk out there. I hope this helped a little.

I did do something special I went to Walt Disney World and took a free tour because I completed ALL the quests, to say we did NOTHING SPECIAL to obtain this VIP designation is just not correct, there was time involved to complete the quests then you had to literally RUN to sign up for the tours at Disneyland, I wonder what you consider special? Having a high score in a game to earn somthing??? No...Obtaining the VMK card to get the VIP status was much more work...

WHen I refer to Nothing special I mean that IN THE GAME we are not really VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE (well no more so than anyone else) A LOT of people try and pass the VIP badge off as they DID something in the Game and that the HOSTS have recognized that.... And that THEY are Very important and different.... I see it all the time...
