My husband is in the military and is constantly struggling with his weight. We had planned going home, and a Disney trip in that going home time. There was a chance he wasn't going to make weight and we'd be sent home-loss of about $4000 in plane tickets alone. Plus no Disney, no job and back into Civilian life in a month. He got weighed in and HE MADE IT!!!! We get to go home, he stays in with his job safe. This was going to be awful for us and I'm so glad he made it-the WDW trip is total icing on the cake, but it's yummy icing!!

Also, I posted that I got to go back to Tokyo Disney for free (well pretty much) and the friend that was taking me almost couldn't go. She can now so I've got all that good news PLUS an extra trip to Tokyo Disneyland and Sea!!!!

I go to Tokyo May 22 and we go to WDW on JUNE 22. So 2 trips in a month. I'm insanely excited!! More about the fact that he's still in, but hey Disney is pretty exciting too hehe

Yup, if they're overweight they get put on a program and they have to lose weight. If it happens so many times you get kicked out. If you're in the Marines it's twice (I believe) your whole career. We've had a couple friends not be able to make it and get kicked out. For Navy you get twice per enlistment. My DH was at the line and barely made it. He has a really strange body type, but they don't go by that-just weight and body fat. I don't know about the other branches, but yeah that's how it goes.
