I finally found a really nice Bulova watch that I really liked , since the first one I had held up well.
I purchased it last night, walked out of the store, dropped the bag, the box opened and the watch fell right on the face and cracked.
So I ruined a $300 watch less than 5 minutes after paying for it. DHmade me go back in the store to see if they would take it back or do anything....which of course they didn't.
So I'm going to take it to the jewlery store that we got our wedding rings at and see if it can be repaired. If they can't, I guess I will have to send it to Bulova, which will cost me a fortune.
I should have just got a cheap $20 watch!
BTW, does anyone know if the glass in watches can actually be repaired?

I would have been bummed. I think you could probably find a jewelry shop to take it and fix the glass. Only thing is, I've heard that there aren't many watch repair places anymore.
