I should be making ADRs right now but ...

Hi Libby - well done. I was going to offer to do it for you. I know a lot of people who have felt like that re - using the phone at some point in their life, myself included. Don't know what causes it but you're not alone.

Misunderstood you! When I tried at noon the system was down, tried 4 times in the end during the afternoon. One CM couldn't find our booking on the system even though I'd booked some ADR's last week, rang back 5 minutes later spoke to another person who found me on their computer straight away! First time I've had a poor experience of ringing them. Hope you plucked up courage to go for it last night.

Did you call for ADRs using the UK hotline or 001-WDW-DINE? I booked in the UK because it was cheaper in Euros, but used WDW-DINE to make my ADRs because that line is a lot cheaper to call from here than the UK hotline. However, they could not find my booking! Did you have similar issues?

I rang the 001 WDW DINE number, I use Telediscount which costs a 1p a minute so I'm not worried about the cost of the calls. We are booked in AKL for 7 nights then moving to Poly, I think the problem lay because I was calling for our second lot of ADR's after checking in the Poly, once I said I'd already made some for our first week staying at AKL she found the booking. All experience for me, last time we had the full 2 weeks in one place and it was a lot easier but we want the fun of 2 different places this time but it just causes a bit more work. I'll know what to do next time!
 
I've just phoned back. I've only made 3 reservations but am very relieved to get the 3 I really wanted.

ETA The only problem I had was that she didn't understand the way I said "Biergarten" she pronounced it "by-er-garten"
 
I had a nightmare the first time I tried to book too - CM clearly didn't understand a word I was saying even when I spelled things out. Gave up and she told me to "Have a magical day!" even though she hadn't helped me a bit! Called back the next day and had a much better experience!!
