... I'm too scared to phone.

I've done it twice before but I hate it. (I'll walk half a mile to the dr's to make an appointment if it means I can avoid the phone.)

Just go for it - and if you land the exact restaurants you want at the right time you'll be so pleased you did :)

I've just plucked up the courage and spoken to Disney DIning and they can't make the booking as there's something wrong with the "time slot". Aaaaargh. So I've got to go through all this again later.

(I did get them to give me the Disney reservation number so it should be easier next time.)

Nice one :thumbsup2

Shame you have to do it again but just think how happy you'll be when you're out in WDW siting in the restaurant you booked :)

I was not looking forward to it either. But I have to say that CM's were brilliant :goodvibes

We can do 1st 10 days next Thursday(7th) not looking forward to it at all, still hope they sort online but doubtful now.

I'll join you all here, I am rubbish at phoning up anywhere, I always get DH to do any phoning lol.
I don't know why I'm a really confident person :upsidedow

I used to dread it but to be honest, the CM's are on the whole fabulous and always ask about special events and so on. By speaking with someone you can work out what time suits best etc.

I'll add on that I wasn't looking forward to it when I had to call either, BUT, the CM I got was fantastic and helped me out loads.

He got me all my reservations I wanted and talked me slowly through all my reservation numbers and times/dates etc.

I even then had to call back and book our P&PP, still nervous, and even that one turned out fine too! :goodvibes

Hope you get the courage to call again and book your reservations - just think, it'll be worth it in the end!

I must admit Mrs Peg normally does the phoning around in our house. I don't mind if it's absolutley necessary (or to speak to my mum :lmao:) but DW is so much better at that sort of thing than me - especially if it comes to having to complain about something.
I'm one of those that just takes whatever is thrown at me - where as DW won't take any *insert word of your choice here* from anyone.
I supppose it's good that one of us is like that or we would never get anything sorted out :lovestruc

SHe said it was because I was booking the 90 +10. I think she didn't know what she was doing! I might try later on tonight.

Misunderstood you! When I tried at noon the system was down, tried 4 times in the end during the afternoon. One CM couldn't find our booking on the system even though I'd booked some ADR's last week, rang back 5 minutes later spoke to another person who found me on their computer straight away! First time I've had a poor experience of ringing them. Hope you plucked up courage to go for it last night.

Good luck Libby-you know it will all have been worth it when you get exactly what you want :thumbsup2.Like others i too was really worried/nervous the first time i done it-but i had a great experience+it made me feel much better.I know i only done one ADR at a time over the period of a few days, but i loved it :thumbsup2.Be sure to post what you get.x.

What date do you arrive Libby? there is a calculator on the DIS that tells you what date you can make your ADRs.

The calculator on the DIS is one day out isn't it? Add a day onto the day the dis calculator tells you.

I can't wait to ring up lol, but then I am a bit of a chatterbox! lol

On this note I dont have a clue where to start... when i went to WDW in 2005we just had counter service meals or ate on our way back to the hotel in Kissimee but this year we are staying at the All stars resort

I feel weird booking loads of dinner reservations as i cant imagine being finished at the parks in time to go back freshen up and head to the restraunt so think i would prefer the flexibility of eating off site does anyone know how far this resort is to IDrive to dine there? Or alternively does anyone have any tips about booking a few reservations - how will i pick where to go! im so bewildered - help!!

xx
