I should be getting ready for India - A Pre-trip report

Okay so DH and I have discussed it some and decided we're probably going to drive down for the trip, which means we can stay till Wednesday or even Thursday November 4th or 5th, instead of leaving the 1st! So the plan at the moment is October 24th - October 31st with my parents off site and then October 31st - November 4th at POP!. I looked at pricing on the other resorts, but we are trying to be fairly thrifty so cost wise POP! looks like our best option.

We like POP! so we'll be okay with it for 4 nights or so I think. The other plan is no dining plan while on-site, since we'll get 10 day park hoppers at the beginning for both parts of the trip, and our dining needs aren't really covered under the basic plan anyways. So we're going to be budgeting $100 a day for food on the days we are staying on property, which means I can do a couple of sit down meals for us and we won't have to worry about having left over counter service meals and snacks, or spending a bunch out of pocket on DS's meals and appetizers. I'm still debating restaurants, though I know the 31st will be counter service since we're doing the Halloween Party that night! I should be able to get 3 sit down meals in for us though on the other days, maybe 4 if I do one before we leave on the 4th.

I need to figure out how many sit down meals at Disney my parents want to do and which ones before fully scheduling our meals after they leave, I'm figuring they will either do 2 or 3 though, so I have tons of choices for our meals after they're gone.

I'm thinking Crystal Palace, Coral Reef or Spoodles and TRex with my parents, though I'll need to figure that out closer to the dates, since I'll only get looked at funny for trying to schedule restaurants 8+ months in advanced right now.

I'm thinking Coral Reef or TRex (based on what we do with my parents), Jiko or Artist Point, and maybe Citricos or Le Cellier, and maybe sneaking in Tusker House Breakfast for just the 4 of us.

I'm also planning on Narcoossee with just DH while my parents are there to babysit and taking my Mom to tea at the Grand Floridian.

Of course the only new places on those lists are Citricos and TRex so I may expand a bit on the list, but since we aren't eating on property every day I do want to go places we've enjoyed before and I know DH can eat at and will enjoy.
