LAZ posted a link in another post to his hometown newspaper. The article talks in depth about one of the Marines that I gave to many of you for adoption. I won't mention his name, but when you read the article, you'll know who he is.

Thanks for this story. I haven't heard anything from Dustin yet and was beginning to worry that something had happened to him. I am glad that he has talked to family and said he's OK.

I don't think he was one of the pictured Marines, but his name was mentioned several times. It was just the first time I had seen anything about him, and I knew that some of the DIS members had "adopted" him.

You can click on News Archives on the left and then select April 18. Don't know how long it will be available though.

I believe the reason that the picture is not available is because it was not a News Banner photo. It was from another news source. I am not a legal expert, but I don't think they could store and sell someone else's photo. Article is still in the 4/18 archives
