Magnets

My son is collectig magnets for his car. He drives an old 1976 Granada in need of a paint job. His school gave out magnets this year and he put his on his car. Soon everyone was donating there magnet to his car along with magnets from other places of business. When we had his car aligned at Sears the person who did the alignment added 4 magnets. He has over 120 magnets on the car now. If anyone would like to donate, email me at

There’s still no indication from the person I sent a magnet to that she received it. She’s received magnets from others, so I know she would acknowledge it. Granted my package was going from Seattle to England, but I mailed it on the 18th … I would think it would be there by now.

Should I be worried?

Londonpenguin, I wouldn't be worried. Mail coming overseas can vary in its arrival time. In Italy, I can receive something as quick as 6 days or as long as 45 days. mamajoan sent me something from California and it took 10 days and yet I had something mailed from New York from a family member and it took 45 days. I guess it all depends. Hang in there!

Got home yesterday from shopping with my son for his homecoming dance and found some goodies in my mailbox.

Thank you chelsea&austinsmom (Diane) for the magnets. My daughter just loves the DisneyWorld one with Tinkerbell floating around. And the "Friends Are Special" is so true. I have met so many new "DIS friends" through these exchanges.

And don't let me forget the Yankee Candle Car Jar, McIntosh Apple. Its my new favorite scent!

I got the most lovely postcard and magnet today from Mrs Dazzle!!

It is a magnet of a house which reminds me of something DixieAmos might live in. Hehehehe

The postcard was a map of the area where Mrs Dazzle lives and she wrote a great little note on the other side.
