I sent/received my cookie recipe exchange

My cookie exchange package went out in the mail today. Headed for a rather frigid area of the country, I'm afraid. At least I don't have to worry about anything melting!!

I have been driving around all week with my packages in the car, and I just haven't made it to the post office yet! I meant to send them to the exchangees on Tuesday, but here it is Thursday......hopefully I will get them in the mail today on my way home.

I am blaming the full moon we had over the weekend, but it has taken its toll on me....THAT'S for sure!

I received my package today from Tiger Fan!!! Thank you so very much for the Pampered Chef cookbook, Lisa!!! I wanted to get it at the last party I went to, but I decided I needed the gadgets and stuff more! Now I have both!! Lisa also sent some cookie cutters--a 6-pointed star, a heart, a bunny rabbit, and a 4-leaf clover. The best part is that they don't duplicate any that I already have! Even the heart is a different size so now I can make layered heart cookies for Valentine's Day. Thank you, Lisa!

Beth, I'm so glad you liked your package. I worried that you might have that cookbook, but if not you HAD to have it. I love that thing and use it all the time. Great about the cutters too, I just picked up some I thought you might could use coming up soon. Take care.

full of goodies from Meriweather! Recipies, cutters, a really nice wood spoon (what a pastry chef must have for cookies), spatulas, shopping list for the fridge, and 2 cookies, Sugar and Peanut Butter. Yankee Candle samplers, yummy delish!


Thanks so much Nancy, it was a great surprise. Now I will have to start baking, when it gets cooler, 77 at 4:45 here. And I mowed the lawn so I am hot, hot, hot.

Well...as my previous post stated, I was planning to get mine mailed out on Tues, but that didn't happen. With all this freezing weather and then a family health issue, my pkg. won't be mailed out until Mon.

Mine was supposed to go out on Tuesday, but because of freezing cold weather and me being too lazy to go out and freeze my patootie off , I mailed mine out on Thursday instead! It is going South from me, but then again, everything does!!

Mine is boxed up and much like the excuses of the above exchangers...it's been too cold to get my (what was it Beanie...paootie ) out to the post office. I will mail Monday morning and that's a sure thing ('cause I also have to stop mail mail for a little trip we're taking )

I had really good intentions of getting mine in the mail today, but it didn't happen. I am behind in everything with the winter weather that we had this week. Mine is boxed up and ready to mail and I will have it at the Post Office on Monday.
