So with the whole pooling of the credits things could get messy for us I just realized... we are in one room with our younger two kids, in-laws next door. DD, age 9, will be sleeping in in-laws room. So her tickets, meals etc are linked with their stuff. See, where this is going? Party of 7 each meal...

We DO plan to have all our TS meals together. So, to keep things totally straight would you request two tickets at each TS meal?

TIA

We went with my parents last week on the dining plan. We were 6 people (4 in one room, 2 in another). When we sat down we told our waiter that we were all on the dining plan. At the end of the meal he gave us separate receipts (one receipt per room). The only problem might be at CS locations if your in-laws are not with you. If you and your 3 children want to eat at a CS location, your card will only said 2 Adults and 2 Children, since your other child will be on your in-laws card. You will not be able to get a meal for 3 children using your card.

Your daughter will have her own card (room key) with her park tickets and dining credits. I realize all credits from the room will be on all keys, but as long as you keep track when you are at CS together I think it would be fine. At the TS you will have to get two checks if you want to pay with two seperate cards. Hope this helps.

My oldest DD was registered in my aunt's room. Only we did do a few meals apart from the whole "Grand Gathering." So that my aunt would be able to keep track of her pooled totals, we used up my daughter's allotment at 2 TS meals at the beginning of the trip. My aunt's card read "4A", but when she instructed the servers to deduct 6 or 7 meals they didn't question her at all. Likewise, when we dined apart from the group and "payed" for my oldest DD's meals (5 TS credits), even though our cards read "2A 2C" nobody batted an eye.

If you'll be doing all TS together, you won't have a problem at all. Your daughter's KTTW card will allow her to get her CS meals herself if necessary.

We also had 2 rooms. One card was 3A, one was 2A and 1C. How we used the cards was a complete nonissue. One night we would use 6 meals off one, the next night 6 meals of another. The servers seemed to prefer it this way. With the exception of Coral Reef none of the servers cared at all what the card said. The waiter at the Coral Reef however actually asked for our cards up front and then studied them before we ordered! He was the only server that put through 2 separate charges.
