Haven't seen anyone type Sanaa's or The Mara's yet so no problem there.

On savanna vs. savannah, for years Disney spelled it savannah on the AKL webpage so I used to use their spelling when posting here. I haven't checked the Disney website in a long time now so I don't know whether they still spell it savannah or have switched to savanna. Last time I looked they used both spellings!

I've lived in the south my whole life and never knew Giraffe were indigenous to Georgia. I guess you learn something every day

Some dictionaries do list savannah as an alternate spelling: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/savanna but the spell checker I use always flags savannah as misspelled and suggests I either capitalize it or drop the "h".

See, that has always been my thought as well. I prefer savanna, since Savannah is in Georgia!
