I saw the "Dream Squad" in action today

So people in identifiable costumes will soon be swarmed over anywhere in the parks for free stuff, including random all ride fastpasses that allow you to screw over your fellow guests because you were lucky?

I dunno...

It's the year of a million dreams....it's not screwing someone over. Geez, lighten up.

We were on the Great Movie ride at MGM-Dis Studios on Oct.1 Our car wasn't full (I don't know if that's a clue). Before the ride began the cast member there passed out a paper fastpass to each of us. This was a fastpass good for one fastpass attraction at this park. It was dated not to expire before 12/15/06. We weren't coming back; so, we used it the same day.

At Epcot, on Mission Space we were exiting the ride when we saw someone get a dream. My friend noticed a cast member counting the people as they exited. All of a sudden a person was stopped a few people before us and that one person was given a dream fastpass for the day at this park.

In both instances noone had a special uniform giving out the dream. I believe the dreams will be given out by many cast members; because, our personal experience showed us this way. Now, the very good dreams might require a dream squad, but we were lucky and I believe many others wil be lucky, too. Good luck to all. I was happy to get what we did. I felt special.

I think you have to give this a chance and it's way too early to feel one way or the other about this new promotion.

Hi...we just returned last night. I noticed members of the
"Dream Team" out as early as Sept. 24th in Epcot. They were pretty noticeable to me. They were all dressed alike and carried a similar messenger bag. We were approached by one team member who brought over a stack of stickers to my 2 yo DD and let her chose a couple. She was thrilled, and so were DH and I. I guess we're pretty easy...throw us a couple of stickers and you've made our day!

As nice as it would be to win a "dream" We live a dream whenever we are at Disney. An especially great dream we will experience this year is spending some time at Disney with the decorations. This is something I have always wanted to do but found it difficult since I am a teacher, however this year, with a lot of work, we are doing it. I certainly would not turn down a dream, nor look the other way at a freebie, but I would consider it gravy. Best of luck to all.
